  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 文字、図形、像等を読取つてその濃淡程度に応
    じたレベルのアナログ信号を得るイメージセンサ
    と、 該イメージセンサからのアナログ信号レベルと
    閾値レベルとを比較するコンパレータ、該コンパ
    レータによる比較結果に応じて該閾値レベルを所
    定の規則で可変出力するゲートアレイにて構成さ
    れる逐次比較方式の回路で、上記イメージセンサ
    からのアナログ信号を、一画素当り複数ビツトを
    有するデジタル信号に変換する回路と を有してなる白黒ハンデイイメージスキヤナ。
