Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 入力画データを白、黒の２値データに変換しそ
の２値データを符号化手段へ出力する画像２値化
回路において、 異なる第１及び第２の閾値を用いて前記入力画
データの白領域、黒領域または灰領域を判定する
領域判定手段と、 前記領域判定手段の判定結果に基づき、前記符
号化手段の圧縮効率を考慮して前記灰領域での白
及び黒画素が配置された白または黒の２値データ
を生成して前記符号化手段へ出力する出力手段と
を、 備えたことを特徴とする画像２値化回路。
