Description
本発明は、装飾用金合金の代用として用いられ
る黄金色系銅合金に関するものである。 近年の省資源化に伴い、装飾用金合金の代用と
して黄金色系合金材料が要求されている。 一般に装飾品に於いては、耐食性が良好である
ことが具備条件の一つとされている。更には、こ
れ等の装飾品は装飾性の面から、複雑な加工が施
される為、その加工が容易であること、さらにそ
の色が黄金色に近いことも併せて要求されてい
る。 ところで、装飾用黄金色系材料として用いられ
ている合金としてはZn30wt％、残部Cuより成る
黄銅合金があるが、この合金は耐食性が悪く、複
雑な形状に加工しづらいという欠点があつた。 本発明は、上記の欠点を解消せんが為になされ
たものであり、銅系合金で耐食性、加工性に優
れ、かつ黄金色を有する装飾用黄金色系銅合金を
提供せんとするものである。 本発明による装飾用黄金色系銅合金はZn11〜
45wt％、Al10.6〜1.8wt％、貴金属1.1〜2wt％、
残部Cuより成る合金である。 本発明による装飾用黄金色系銅合金に於いて、
Znを添加した理由は、ZnはCuと合金を作つた際
に黄金色が得られる為であり、11wt％未満では
その効果が薄く、45wt％を超えるとβ相が現わ
れ、薄板に加工することが困難になる為である。 また、Alを添加した理由は、AlはCuと合金を
作つた際に表面に安定な酸化被膜を作り、耐食性
を向上させる為であり、0.6wt％未満ではその効
果が薄く1.8wt％を超えると金属間化合物を作り、
加工性が低下する為である。 また、貴金属を添加した理由は、貴金属の微量
添加によりCu−Zn−Al合金の耐食性を大いに向
上させる為であり、1.1wt％未満ではその効果が
薄く、2wt％以上にしてもあまり顕著な変化が見
られなくなる為である。ここで言う貴金属とは、
Au、Ag、Pt、Pd、Rh、Ru、Ir、Osを含めての
ことである。 以下本発明による装飾用黄金色系銅合金の効果
を明瞭ならしめる為に実施例及び従来例について
述べる。 第１表に示す成分組成の実施例１〜４の装飾用
黄金色系銅合金と従来例１、２の装飾用黄金色系
銅合金の色、加工性、耐汗性についてテストした
ところ第２表のような結果を得た。

残部Cuより成る合金である。 本発明による装飾用黄金色系銅合金に於いて、
Znを添加した理由は、ZnはCuと合金を作つた際

ことである。 以下本発明による装飾用黄金色系銅合金の効果
を明瞭ならしめる為に実施例及び従来例について

銅合金の色、加工性、耐汗性についてテストした

なお、人工汗試験はNH4Cl15.5ｇ／、
NaCl20ｇ／、酢酸2.5ｇ／、尿素５ｇ／、
乳酸15ｇ／、PH4.7の液組成で液温40℃、240時
間浸漬後判定した。 上記で明らかなように本発明による装飾用黄金
色系銅合金は従来の装飾用黄金色系銅合金に比
し、耐汗性、加工性が優れ、かつ黄金色を有して
いることが判る。 以上詳記した通り、本発明の装飾用黄金色系銅
合金は、耐汗性、加工性が優れかつ黄金色を有し
ているので、従来の装飾用黄金色系銅合金にとつ
て代わることのできる画期的なものと言える。
NaCl20ｇ／、酢酸2.5ｇ／、尿素５ｇ／、
乳酸15ｇ／、PH4.7の液組成で液温40℃、240時
間浸漬後判定した。 上記で明らかなように本発明による装飾用黄金
色系銅合金は従来の装飾用黄金色系銅合金に比
し、耐汗性、加工性が優れ、かつ黄金色を有して
いることが判る。 以上詳記した通り、本発明の装飾用黄金色系銅
合金は、耐汗性、加工性が優れかつ黄金色を有し
ているので、従来の装飾用黄金色系銅合金にとつ
て代わることのできる画期的なものと言える。

- １ 亜鉛11〜45wt％、アルミニウム0.6〜1.8wt
％、貴金属1.1〜2wt％、残部銅より成る装飾用黄
金色系銅合金。
