Description
【発明の詳細な説明】
本発明は太陽電池用基板に係り、特に光電変換
式太陽電池用基板に関する。

太陽電池は現状の段階では光エネルギーから電
気エネルギーへの変換効率は約10%程度にまで向
上しているが、入射エネルギーの大部分は熱ある
いは反射などの形で外部へ放出される。太陽電池
素子自体は主にシリコン、ガリウム、ひ素等の半
導体あるいはアモルフアスシリコン系で構成され
ており、高価であるため単位素子面積当り発電量
を上げて発電量当りの電池素子面積を小さくし、
経済性の高い太陽電池の開発がすすめられてい
る。しかしながら、上記の如く太陽電池の光から
電気へ変換されるエネルギーが熱として吸収され
るエネルギーに比べて低いため太陽電池の昇温が
著しくなり、従つて太陽電池そのものを冷却する
ことが必要となる。通常、太陽電池基板は放熱
性、絶縁性、熱的特性および平滑性等が良好で、
かつ長時間にわたつて材質の変化が生じないこと
が不可欠である。

従来、この目的に用いる基板としてアルミナ、
金、白金あるいはステンレス鋼等の研究がすすめ
られてきた。まず、アルミナ基板は十分な放熱性
が得られず、金あるいは白金の基板は高価である
こと、さらにステンレス鋼基板は表面あらさを
0.1〜0.3μmRmax程度の鏡面に仕上げるには操作
がきわめて煩雑であり、また操作に長時間を要す
る等の欠点があつた。

られてきた。まず、アルミナ基板は十分な放熱性

0.1〜0.3μmRmax程度の鏡面に仕上げるには操作
がきわめて煩雑であり、また操作に長時間を要す
る等の欠点があつた。
本発明の目的は上記従来技術の問題点を解決
し、放熱性、絶縁性、熱的特性および平滑性等が
すぐれ、太陽集光度を高くとつても温度上昇に対
して安全で、しかも安価な太陽電池用基板を提供
するにある。

これより先に本発明者らは最近IC、LSI、パワ
ートランジスターなどの電子材料の発展に伴つて
熱的特性、平滑性あるいは鋼板と被膜との密着性
にすぐれた新しいプリント基板を発明した。

すなわち、本発明者らは、従来のプリント基板
の欠点を解消するために、鋼板上に薄いフオルス
テライト(2MgO、SiO2)下地被膜を形成し、こ
のフオルステライト被膜上にほうろう層を形成
し、このほうろう層上に導電パターンを接着形成
したプリント基板を発明し、特願昭58−126329に
て開示した。而してこのプリント基板は使用鋼板
としてSi1.0〜4.5%を含む場合に特にすぐれてい
ることを見い出した。このように素地鋼板として
Siを含有する鋼板を用い、その上にフオルステラ
イト被膜を形成させ、更にその上にほうろう層を
設けることによつて被覆各層の密着性を向上させ
るという技術思想は全く新規のものであり注目さ
れるべきである。さらに本発明者らは鋼板上に被
覆されたフオルステライト被膜層上にりん酸塩と
コロイダルシリカを主成分とするコーテイング処
理液の焼付けにより形成された絶縁被膜層と、該
絶縁被膜層上に形成された導電パターンと、を有
して成る新しいプリント基板を発明し特願昭58−
251746にて開示した。

実験を行つて本発明を完成するに至つたものであ

本発明の要旨とするところは次のとおりであ

通常、太陽電池用基板は第1図に示す如く、太
陽電池素子2が太陽電池用基板4上にセツトさ
れ、特に集光型を用いる場合には集光用光学系部
材6により太陽電池素子2の表面に集光される。
なお、この集光用光学系部材6は球面レンズ、フ
レネルレンズ、凹面鏡、平面鏡など用途、目的、
規模により適宜選択される。

取出用リード10がボンデイングワイヤー12に
より電気的に接続されていて外部へ電力を取出す

この太陽電池用基板4自体は各回路と電気的に
絶縁されていることが必要であり、本発明の基板
4は第3図から明らかなように、鋼板14に被覆
されたフオルステライト被膜層16と、そのフオ
ルステライト被膜層16上に被覆されたりん酸塩
とコロイダルシリカを主成分とする絶縁被膜18
から構成されている。

本発明におけるフオルステライト被膜層16と
絶縁被膜18の合計厚さは1〜20ミクロン程度で
あれば十分絶縁破壊電圧外にある。このような絶
縁被膜18の厚みを限定する要因は直列に結合さ
れる電池の耐電圧である。この太陽電池用基板4
の絶縁被膜18の耐電圧は2〜7ミクロン厚で
200V以上であることが判明しており、この程度
の耐電圧があれば十分である。

あれば十分絶縁破壊電圧外にある。このような絶
縁被膜18の厚みを限定する要因は直列に結合さ
れる電池の耐電圧である。この太陽電池用基板4
の絶縁被膜18の耐電圧は2〜7ミクロン厚で
200V以上であることが判明しており、この程度
の耐電圧があれば十分である。
また、本発明の太陽電池用基板4の絶縁被膜1
8は鋼板14との密着性がきわめて良く、熱的特
性も良好で、かつ絶縁被膜18の表面の平滑性も
良好である。

本発明を具体的実施例により説明する。
実施例 1
Siを3.1%含有する珪素鋼の冷延板を800℃の湿
水素中で5分間焼鈍を施した後、鋼板表面に
MgO95%、TiO25%を含有するスラリー状の焼
鈍分離剤を15g/m2塗布した後、窒素ガス中1100
℃で2時間30分焼鈍してフオルステライト被膜を
形成させた。この被膜上にりん酸マグネシウム25
%水溶液80mlとコロイダルシリカ30%水分散液95
mlの割合の処理液を塗布し、約7ミクロン厚の絶
縁被膜層を形成して太陽電池用基板4とした。
水素中で5分間焼鈍を施した後、鋼板表面に

第4図に示す如くGaAs太陽電池19を水冷式
導管20上に設置しフレネルレンズ6を用いた太
陽集光器にセツトした。本実施例においてフレネ
ルレンズはアクリルガラス製を用いた。

GaAs太陽電池19は250℃以下で使用が可能
であり、本実施例の基板4はその下部に冷却水を
循環させることによつて150℃以下に収まるよう
に調節できる構成である。得られた太陽電池19
は50mm2の素子2に集光比200で光を照射した場合、
開放電圧1.5V、電流700mAが得られ、素子2の
表面温度は150℃以下であり、従来品に比べ放熱
性が格段にすぐれていた。

素中で3分間焼鈍した後、鋼板表面に蛇紋岩25
%、MgO70%、TiO25%を含有するスラリー状
の焼鈍分離剤を14g/m2塗布した後、1150℃で3
時間窒素ガス中で焼鈍してフオルステライト被膜
を形成させた。このフオルステライト被膜層上に
りん酸アルミニウム45%水溶液65mlとコロイダル
シリカ30%水分散液100mlの割合の処理液を塗布
し、約5ミクロン厚の絶縁被膜層を形成して太陽
電池用基板とした。第5図に示す如くSiGe太陽
電池19を水冷式導管20上に設置し、凹面鏡6
にセツトした。
素中で3分間焼鈍した後、鋼板表面に蛇紋岩25

時間窒素ガス中で焼鈍してフオルステライト被膜
を形成させた。このフオルステライト被膜層上に
りん酸アルミニウム45%水溶液65mlとコロイダル
シリカ30%水分散液100mlの割合の処理液を塗布
し、約5ミクロン厚の絶縁被膜層を形成して太陽
電池用基板とした。第5図に示す如くSiGe太陽
電池19を水冷式導管20上に設置し、凹面鏡6
にセツトした。
SiGe太陽電池19は、この基板4の下部に冷
却水を循環させることによつて150℃以下に保て
るように調節できる構成となつている。50mm2の太
陽電池素子2に集光比300で光を照射した場合、
開放電圧1.0V、電流600mAが得られ、素子2の
表面温度は150℃以下であり、従来品に比して放
熱性が著しくすぐれていた。
却水を循環させることによつて150℃以下に保て
るように調節できる構成となつている。50mm2の太
陽電池素子2に集光比300で光を照射した場合、
開放電圧1.0V、電流600mAが得られ、素子2の
表面温度は150℃以下であり、従来品に比して放
熱性が著しくすぐれていた。
実施例 3
Siを2.8%含有する珪素鋼冷延板を820℃の湿水
素中で3分間焼鈍した後、鋼板表面に蛇紋岩30
%、MgO60%、Mn2O35%、TiO25%を含有する
スラリー状の焼鈍分離剤を12g/m2塗布した後、
1100℃で3時間窒素ガス中で焼鈍してフオルステ
ライト被膜を形成させた。このフオルステライト
被膜層上にりん酸カルシウム35%水溶液50ml、コ
ロイダルシリカ30%水分散液80mlの割合の処理液
を塗布し、約8ミクロン厚の絶縁被膜層を形成し
て太陽電池用基板とした。第6図に示す如く、こ
の基板4をU字形に加工しGaAs太陽電池19を
水冷式導管20上に設置し、フレネルネンズ6を
用いた太陽集光器にセツトした。
素中で3分間焼鈍した後、鋼板表面に蛇紋岩30
%、MgO60%、Mn2O35%、TiO25%を含有する
スラリー状の焼鈍分離剤を12g/m2塗布した後、
1100℃で3時間窒素ガス中で焼鈍してフオルステ
ライト被膜を形成させた。このフオルステライト
被膜層上にりん酸カルシウム35%水溶液50ml、コ
ロイダルシリカ30%水分散液80mlの割合の処理液
を塗布し、約8ミクロン厚の絶縁被膜層を形成し
て太陽電池用基板とした。第6図に示す如く、こ
の基板4をU字形に加工しGaAs太陽電池19を
水冷式導管20上に設置し、フレネルネンズ6を
用いた太陽集光器にセツトした。
GaAs太陽電池19は250℃以下で使用ができ、
この基板4の下部に冷却水を循環させることによ
つて150℃以下に収まるように調節できる構成と
なつている。この太陽電池19は素子2が50mm2の
ものに集光比200で光を照射した場合、開放電圧
1.2V、電流600mAが得られ素子2の表面温度は
150℃以下であり放熱性がすぐれていた。
この基板4の下部に冷却水を循環させることによ
つて150℃以下に収まるように調節できる構成と
なつている。この太陽電池19は素子2が50mm2の
ものに集光比200で光を照射した場合、開放電圧
1.2V、電流600mAが得られ素子2の表面温度は
150℃以下であり放熱性がすぐれていた。
上記実施例からも明らかな如く、本発明の太陽
電池用基板は、鋼板上に被覆されたフオルステラ
イト被膜層と前記フオルステライト被膜層上に焼
付被覆されたりん酸塩とコロイダルシリカを主成
分とする絶縁被膜とを有しているので、安価で素
子との密着性にすぐれ、曲げ加工も可能であると
いう従来にない大なる効果を得ることができた。
電池用基板は、鋼板上に被覆されたフオルステラ
イト被膜層と前記フオルステライト被膜層上に焼
付被覆されたりん酸塩とコロイダルシリカを主成
分とする絶縁被膜とを有しているので、安価で素
子との密着性にすぐれ、曲げ加工も可能であると
いう従来にない大なる効果を得ることができた。

発明実施例による太陽電池を示す模式断面図であ

Claims (1)
- 1 鋼板上に被覆されたフオルステライト被膜層
と、前記フオルステライト被膜層上に焼付被覆さ
れたりん酸塩とコロイダルシリカを主成分とする
絶縁被膜と、を有して成ることを特徴とする太陽
電池用基板。
