(Prior art) In the past, an operator manually operated the oil filter.
After applying oil to the ring and visually inspecting the presence or absence of the O-ring, the oil filter is temporarily tightened to the oil filter screwing location of the engine, and then the oil filter is screwed using a tightening tool.

By the way, when applying oil to the O-ring of the oil filter, if you place the oil filter in a horizontal position in the oil tank, the oil tank will have a depth that will allow the entire oil filter to be immersed, since the oil application surface of the O-ring will be facing sideways. This is necessary because the oil tank becomes larger, and an oil application nozzle is installed to increase the oil tank size.
Applying oil to the ring would make the device complicated and expensive.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above object, the present invention has a cartridge-type oil filter attached to an O-ring which is attached to the end face of the cartridge-type oil filter on the side of the engine fixed on the assembly station. In an assembling device that applies oil and screws, a workpiece conveyor, an oil tank, and an oil tank are arranged on the side of the assembling station in order from the outside in the direction away from the assembling station. At the same time, an oil filter is placed above the lateral side of the assembly station, and an oil filter is taken out from the supply station in a vertical position and placed in the oil layer, and after applying oil to the O-ring, the oil filter is installed. A transfer means for transferring the engine to the conveyor in a horizontal position is provided, and a tightening tool having a socket at the tip for fitting the oil filter is installed at the end of the conveyor at the location where the oil filter of the engine is screwed on the assembly station. The oil filter is provided so as to be movable forward and backward toward the conveyor, and is further provided with an O-ring detection means for inspecting the presence or absence of the O-ring in the oil filter conveyance path from the starting end of the conveyor to the delivery position to the fastener. .

In this case, since the oil filter is inserted vertically and facing downward, the oil tank may have a relatively shallow depth in which only the oil-coated surface of the O-ring is immersed. Next, the oil filter is placed in a horizontal position on the work conveyor, and the presence or absence of the O-ring is inspected by the O-ring detection means. If the O-ring has not fallen off, the oil filter is removed by a tightening tool placed at the end of the conveyor. is assembled to the oil filter screw attachment point of the engine.

In this case, as mentioned above, the oil filter is taken out in a vertical position and placed in the oil tank to apply oil to the O-ring, so the O-ring may fall off from the oil filter, and an oil filter without an O-ring may be assembled into the engine. However, in the present invention, the O-ring detection means is arranged in the oil filter conveyance path from the starting end of the workpiece conveyor to the delivery position to the tightening tool, so if the O-ring has fallen off, it will be detected. This oil filter is not assembled into the engine, so incorrect installation of the oil filter can be reliably prevented.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, according to the present invention, the oil filter can be automatically assembled to the side of the engine with oil applied to the O-ring thereof, and work efficiency can be improved. Also, since the oil filter is inserted into the oil tank in a vertical position, the oil filter can be prevented from being erroneously assembled into the engine, so the oil tank can be made smaller and the oil tank can be made smaller.

1. In an assembly device in which a cartridge-type oil filter is attached to the end face of an engine placed on the side of an engine, oil is applied in advance to the O-ring, and the O-ring is screwed onto the side of the engine. A workpiece conveyor, an oil tank, and an oil filter supply station are arranged in this order in the outward direction, with the direction away from the assembly station facing outward, and above the lateral side of the assembly station. , taking out an oil filter from the supply station in a vertical position and placing it in the oil layer;
After applying oil to the O-ring, a transfer means is provided to place the oil filter in a horizontal position and transfer it to the conveyor, and a tightening tool having a socket for fitting the oil filter at the end of the conveyor is installed at the end of the conveyor. An O-ring is installed to move forward and backward toward the oil filter screwing location of the engine on the attached station, and further inspects the presence or absence of the O-ring in the oil filter conveyance path from the start end of the conveyor to the delivery position to the fastener.
An oil filter assembly device for an engine, characterized in that a ring detection means is provided.
