に形成した凹部にバツクウエイト部材あるいはソ
ールウエイト部材等のウエイト部材を嵌込み、該
ウエイト部材及び前記芯材を覆うようにヘツド外
殻を構成するFRP成形用材料を添付して成形型
内に挿入し熱圧することを特徴とするもので、こ
の場合、前記ウエイト部材は、芯材の表面に形成
した凹部に全体が埋設するように嵌込むとは限ら
ず、一部を芯材の表面から突出させて仮止め保持
することがより好ましい。

フエース面部1c側のFRP外殻内に埋設固定さ
れた硬化済のFRPからなるフエース面板、7は
前記ヘツド本体1のネツク部1dに挿貫固定され
たクラブシヤフト、さらに8は該クラブシヤフト
7と前記ヘツド本体ネツク部1dとの取付基部周
囲を保護するキヤツプ状の保護体である。
