Conventionally, this type of end tab is made of a small flat plate of approximately rectangular sintered material, etc., and as shown in the first figure, the end tabs c and c are placed against the side end of the steel beam b that is in contact with the steel column a, and these end tabs c , c are pressed by arm levers e, e of magnetic stands d, d magnetized to the side surfaces of the steel beam b, and then arc welding is applied to the groove at the end of the steel beam b, and during this welding. These end tabs c, c prevent the molten metal from flowing out to the sides of the steel beam b. Note that f and f indicate springs. However, this conventional end tab c requires an extra device such as a magnetic stand to press and fix it to the side end of the steel beam b, is made of sintered material, etc., and is expensive, and is difficult to reuse. However, a portion of the metal adheres to the contact surface with the molten metal, and this must be removed with a file or the like before reuse, which is time-consuming.

The object of the present invention is to provide an end tab that eliminates these drawbacks, and its feature is that it is made of a small flat plate made of metal, and that on the back side of the small flat plate, the end tab is attached to the side end of the steel beam. A contacting part is formed in the welded part, and a part corresponding to the welding groove of the steel beam is formed in the welding groove to prevent molten metal from flowing out. The upper edge of the welding groove is formed into an inclined protrusion that slopes upward from the base of the welding groove toward the end of the steel beam, and the inclined upper edge of the inclined protrusion is formed so that the welding amount is increased over its entire length. The reason is that it is formed into a gauge that serves as a guide.

Reference numeral 1 indicates an end tab, and the end tab 1 is made of a rectangular flat plate made of iron. A through hole 2 is formed in one half of the small flat plate, and the back surface 1h of the small flat plate around the through hole 2 is At the same time, the back surface 1h of the other half of the small flat plate is formed into the welding part 1a, and the small flat plate is welded above the outflow preventing part 1b so that the upper edge thereof is welded as described below. A sloped protrusion 1i is formed that slopes obliquely upward from the base of the groove 5 toward the end of the steel beam 3, and the sloped upper edge of the sloped protrusion 1i is formed into a gauge 1c that serves as a guide for the amount of welding. The width W of the lower end of the inclined protrusion 1i is approximately equal to the thickness t of the upper and lower flanges of, for example, an H-shaped steel beam to be welded, and the height H of the inclined protrusion 1i is t/4 or more. It is preferable to do so.

The end tabs 1, 1 are applied to the ends of both sides of each flange portion 3a as shown in the fourth figure, and the end tabs 1, 1 are applied to the lower ends of the flange portions 3a, and the through holes 2 are arc welded to the ends of the flange portions 3a. Fix by tacking, etc. Thereafter, the welding groove portion of the upper end of each flange portion 3a is overlaid at 5 points from the lower portion to the upper portion by arc welding or the like, and during this welding, the gauge 1c of the end tabs 1, 1 is welded. Fill the gauge 1c along the entire length of the gauge 1c. In this way, the overlay can be reliably performed as specified, and the molten metal resulting from welding will not flow out from both ends of the weld groove 5 due to the outflow prevention parts 1b, 1b of the end tabs 1, 1. The steel beam 3 is firmly welded to the steel column 6. In this welding, the surface layer portions of the surfaces of the end tabs 1, 1 facing the weld groove portion 5 are also melted, and these end tabs 1, 1 contribute to the strong welding of the steel beam 3 and the steel column 6.

11 and 12 show still another embodiment, in which the end tab 1 is formed into a trapezoidal shape as shown, and the upper end of the inclined edge is formed into a short horizontal line, and The horizontal line part 1
The upper part of the sloped upper edge connected to g is formed in the gauge 1c, and is suitable when the widths of the steel beam 3 and the steel column 6 are equal, and the thickness t of the flange part 3a of the steel beam 3 is the same as the end tab. Since it is sufficient to satisfy the condition that the length L of the side end of flange part 3
It is applicable to various steel beams 3 having a thickness of a, and since a part of the horizontal line portion 1g only needs to be on the side edge of the steel column 6, there is some flexibility in the mounting position of the end tab 1, and Since the shape is simplified, it can be obtained at low cost.

FIGS. 17 to 19 show still another embodiment, in which the end tab 1 is shaped like a trapezoidal plate and has an obliquely bent part on its wide side to prevent molten metal from flowing out 1b. The end tabs 1, 1 are formed in a protruding shape, and the inclined upper edge above the outflow prevention part 1b is formed into a gauge 1c. The steel beam 3 and the steel column 6 are welded together by fixing them by temporary arc welding or the like. During this welding, unreliable welding due to molten metal tends to occur at both ends of the welding groove 5;
Since b is a protruding shape, this point where welding is uncertain is located outward from the side surface of the steel beam 3 and is not located inside the beam 3, and thus the beam 3 and the steel column 6 are welded together as described above. Welding can be performed reliably without being affected by certain locations.

Figures 20 to 22 are the same as those shown in Figures 17 to 1 above.
9 is a modification of the embodiment shown in FIG. 9. In this embodiment, the end tab 1 has a trapezoidal plate shape, and a V-shaped protrusion is formed in the outflow prevention part 1b on the wide side of the end tab 1. The inclined upper edge above the preventing portion 1b is formed into a gauge 1c, which is suitable for use when the widths of the steel beam 3 and the steel column 6 are equal.
This is similar to the embodiment shown in FIG.

As described above, according to the present invention, a protrusion whose upper edge is inclined at a predetermined angle is formed at the upper end of the small flat plate above the outflow prevention part, and the inclined upper edge of the inclined protrusion is welded over its entire length. Since the end tab is formed to a gauge that serves as a guideline for The maximum build-up height at each position can be clearly seen from the height of the corresponding position of the gauge on the sloped upper edge, thus making the welding work easier and requiring no special skill for the welding work. Since the specified amount of overlay can be reliably applied along the entire length of the gauge without excess or deficiency, the specified welding strength can be obtained, ensuring the safety of the building, without using more welding material than necessary, and further improving the end tab itself. Also by welding 1
It has the effect of partially melting and further integrating the weld between the steel beam and the steel column.
