A buzzer, bell,
A variety of sounding bodies such as bells are used, but bozu is often preferred because of its striking sound. However,
Conventional hour-beating mechanisms have a cam attached to the pointer shaft that controls the number of strokes and the timing of the hour-beating, and a lever for controlling the number of strokes when striking a bell. The clock mechanism and the striking mechanism were inseparable because of their engagement with gears, etc. Therefore, while it is interesting to see the movement of the wooden ring when striking the hour, the conventional ringing mechanism is either built into the watch case and cannot be seen from the outside, or is visible through a window, making it less visually interesting. I wasn't able to fully demonstrate my abilities.

In this invention, the time striking mechanism using a bell is mechanically separated from the clock mechanism and exposed outside the case in the most effective manner, thereby taking advantage of the excellent acoustic effect of the bell and also making the time striking mechanism mechanically separate from the clock mechanism. The purpose is to provide a clock that can fully exhibit the visual effect of its operation.

FIG. 2 is a block diagram showing the structure of the mechanical-electrical system of the present invention. The basis of this configuration is that the time signal and counting functions are integrated with the clock function into an IC. Reference numeral 53 is an IC according to the present invention, which is characterized by having a preset counter 54 and a counter 55 (30 minute capacity in the embodiment) in addition to the clock function. When the user pulls the knob 4 on the outside of the case 1 in the direction of the arrow 56, the lever 57 is activated, the heart cam 21 is activated, the second hand 5 is aligned with the zero mark 3, and the pointer is stopped. In addition, 15 is a driving coil of the stepping motor, 16 is its rotor, 1
7, 18, 19, 23, 25, and 29 are wheel trains (reduction gear trains). When the knob 4 is released at the same time as the standard time signal is heard, the lever 57 is returned by the force of the return spring 58, and the hands start at the same time. 59 is a lead linked to the lever 57, 60 is a regulation terminal,
59 and 60 constitute a regulation switch. 61
is conductive rubber. 62 is an inverter, 63 is a differentiating circuit, and its output is a one-shot pulse sent the moment knob 4 is released, which resets counter 55. The counter 55 is a counter connected to the clock circuit 14, operated by the crystal 11 and oscillation circuit 13 common to the clock, and repeatedly outputs at predetermined time intervals (30 minutes in this example). Then, when the knob 4 is released, the second hand 5 starts from the zero mark 3 of zero seconds, and at the same time the counter 55 also starts from zero, so the next output of the counter 55 is completely synchronized with the passing of the second hand 5 to zero, and from then on repeat. If a time signal device is triggered by this synchronization signal, a time signal clock with zero error can be created. Reference numeral 64 designates a time stroke designation switch that opens and closes in conjunction with the clock train, and in the embodiment shown in the figure, it consists of a 4-bit binary code plate 65 that rotates together with the hour wheel 30 and four contact pieces 66, and is used to set the time indicated by the hour hand 7. The number of strokes corresponding to the band is converted into a binary code signal, and the preset counter 54
is waiting to be set. Said counter 5
The output of 5 passes through OR gate 67 to set FF 68 and passes through line 69 to preset the binary code in preset counter 54. A clock signal (appropriately at 2 second intervals when the timer is a bell) is passed from the clock circuit 14 through a line 70, processed by an AND gate 71 at the output of the FF 68, and subtracted from the preset counter 54. When the count reaches zero, a time stop signal passes through line 72 to reset FF 68 and close AND gate 71. Therefore, a predetermined number and interval of time-strike signals are generated on line 73 to activate alarm circuit 74. The configuration of the alarm circuit 74 changes depending on the type of time striking device, but in the case of a bell, a waveform with a 2 second period as shown in 75 is output and the motor 34 is
Start every second. Although not shown, the waveform 75 is generally amplified by a transistor or the like to drive the motor 34.

The motor 34 is a small DC motor, and its speed is limited by the following configuration. Motor 34 is started by drive pulse 80 of waveform 75 for a predetermined number of times. A worm 81 rotates the driving wheel 82 in the direction of an arrow 83 at a reduced speed. Reference numeral 84 is a contact cam that operates together with the driving wheel 82. While it is in contact with the fixed contact 85, the motor 34 is driven through the line 85-1, but due to the inertia of the rotating member, the contact cam 84 moves relative to 85 as shown in FIG. The motor 34 enters the non-conducting region 86 and stops. When a driving pulse 80 is applied during this stop, the motor 34 and the driving wheel 82 are started, and the contact cam 84 is connected to the non-conducting area 86.
It separates from the contact point 85 and continues to rotate, but it reaches the upper non-conducting region 86 again and stops. The duration of the application of the drive pulse 80 is determined by the short limit at which the above-mentioned separation occurs completely. Therefore, the driving wheel 82 starts and indexes to a stop each time the driving pulse 80 is applied, and each time the pin is held at a suitable fixed position relative to the tie rod 41, and each time the driving pulse 80 is applied, the pin 40 is moved by the spring 42. The pulled stick 41 is raised up, dropped, and the bell 43 is struck again to stand by. Since the waveform 75 uses the crystal 11 as a reference oscillator, the time accuracy of the striking interval is extremely high.

Furthermore, consideration has been given to the timing delay in the embodiment. The position of the pin 40 is the stop position, and it takes approximately one second for the pin 40 to start from this point, raise the ring 41, fall to the bell 43, and emit the first striking sound, so it is delayed from the zero mark 3 of the second hand 5. Processing that prevents the initial tapping sound from occurring is also required. To do this, the counter 55 trigger must be set 30 minutes after the reset is released.
Instead of saying it in seconds, you can make it say it in 29 minutes and 59 seconds. Line 87 is a time signal output line that may be selected for this purpose.

Next, we will discuss the relationship between the clock mechanism and the striking device. In FIG. 2, the clock mechanism 89 and the striking device 90 are divided into left and right parts by a unit separation line 88 (arrow 8
9,90). 89 and 90
Since there is no mechanical transmission, both can be made independent as a unit. 94 is a removable electrical connector such as a socket.
