Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a hair tonic, containing a ginkgo extract and nucleic acids as essential ingredients and capable of accelerating and normalizing hair and scalp function and exhibiting excellent hair tonic and hair growing effects. CONSTITUTION:The objective hair tonic obtained by including 0.0001-10wt.% ginkgo extract and 0.0001-5wt.% nucleic acids, blending the prepared mixture with a normal base used in products for hair and preparing the hair tonic according to a conventional method. The ginkgo extract is obtained by dipping a raw material such as leaf, flower, branch or fruit of a ginkgo in a solvent such as ethyl alcohol, extracting the raw material at ambient temperature or while heating the solvent and filtering the resultant extract. Adenylic acid derivatives, adenine, guanine and derivatives thereof, etc., are cited as the nucleic acids. The hair tonic can be prepared in the form of milky lotion, cream, lotion, etc., and further hair tonic, hair liquid, hair lotion, hair cream, hair rinse, shampoo, hair set lotion, hair spray, etc., as a dosage form.

The mixture was concentrated to dryness to obtain 196 g of crude crystals. Add 95V/V% ethanol 271 to the obtained crude crystals, perform stirring extraction, filter out insoluble materials, and further add 25% aqueous ammonia to the extract to adjust the pH to 9.0 and precipitate. After removing the precipitate, 20g of activated carbon was added, stirred at 50"C for 30 minutes, and the reviving carbon was filtered off. The treated solution was heated at 50°C.
The mixture was concentrated to dryness at a temperature below 50% C. to obtain 12 g of powder.
