    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 長距離光海底ケーブルで用いられる光フアイバ
    の接続のために接続すべき２本の光フアイバの端
    部の被覆を除去された状態で該光フアイバガラス
    が相互に融着接続され、該被覆除去部分は前記被
    覆同一の樹脂による注入成形によつて前記光フア
    イバガラスの融着接続部における該注入成形部外
    径と前記被覆の径とが同一に形成されていること
    を特徴とする光フアイバの接続部構造。
