Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) カード式預託乗車券がカード処理装置に供
    給され、そのカード式預託乗車券の記憶情報を記
    憶読取り手段で読取り、利用乗車運賃に応じた運
    賃精算のための記憶情報の書替えを行つて、その
    カード式預託乗車券を戻すカード式乗車券精算装
    置において、 上記記憶読取り手段で読取られた記憶情報から
    挿入されたカードがカード式預託乗車券か定期券
    かを判定する判定手段と、 その判定手段により挿入されたカードが定期券
    と判定されると、その定期券に記入された使用期
    間の有効性を判定する有効性判定手段と、 上記定期券に記入された有効乗車区間（または
    停留所間）情報を目視可能情報または音声情報で
    報知する手段とを備えたカード式運賃精算装置。 (2) 定期券に記入されたバーコードを読取る手
    段を備え、その読取つたバーコード中の使用期間
    の処理装置内に設けた光学的読取部によつて読取
    り、有効性が上記有効性判定手段で判定されるこ
    とを特徴とする請求項１記載のカード式運賃精算
    装置。
