That is, it is integrally extruded from medium-foamed sponge rubber with a density of about 0.6 g/cm 3 , and is formed continuously with a fitted base 3 having engaging shoulders 1 and 2 on both sides, and a fitted base 3. Seal portion 5 with a substantially M-shaped cross section and a hollow portion
It consists of. The manner in which this W/S 6 is assembled to the body 21 is as follows:
As shown in FIG. 2, the first engagement shoulder 1 is first inserted so as to engage with the stopper step 22a located on the inside of the assembly rail car, and then the second engagement The mating shoulder portion 2 was pushed in so as to engage with the retaining step portion 22b located on the outside of the vehicle of the assembly rail. When the second engagement shoulder 2 is pushed into the assembly rail 22, since the fitted base 3 is made of sponge rubber (low modulus), the edge of the stopper step 22b as shown in FIG. E bites in and the second engaging shoulder 2 gets caught in the middle, making it difficult to reliably engage the mounting rail retaining rail 2. Therefore, a defective assembly of the W/S (a defective engagement of the second engaging shoulder portion 2 with the retaining step portion 22b) was likely to occur. This assembly defect is caused by
This may result in poor contact between the W/S6 and the glass G or a poor seal at the assembly rail, making it impossible to sufficiently prevent wind, rain, dust, and sound from entering the vehicle interior, and furthermore, the W/S may be damaged due to vibrations and shocks during driving. Parts are more likely to fall off from the assembly rail. Note that in order to eliminate the above-mentioned snagging of the second engaging shoulder part in the middle, it is possible to form the fitted base part 3 with a solid rubber with high modulus, etc.; At this time, since the base to be fitted is formed with substantially the same thickness in the width direction, it is difficult to bend and the pushing load increases, making it difficult to push in by hand.

The manner in which the W/S 16 of this embodiment is assembled to the body 21 is as shown in FIG.
1 so that its engagement shoulder 11a engages with the retaining step 22a of the assembly rail, and then the second engaging leg 12 is inserted so that its engagement shoulder 12a engages with the retaining step 22a of the assembly rail. 22a. When pushing the second engagement leg 12 into the assembly rail 22, the fitted base 13 is made of solid rubber with high modulus as described above, and the tip side of the second engagement leg 12 can be bent inward. Since the lip portion 12b is formed as a smooth lip portion 12b, the edge portion E of the retaining step portion 22b does not bite into the second engagement leg portion 12 and become caught in the middle. In addition, the fitted base 13 has both engagement legs 1 as described above.
Since the bridge section 14 connecting the engagement legs 1 and 12 can be bent elastically so as to bring the two engagement legs close to each other, the base section 3 to be fitted is made of solid rubber, which has a high modulus.
Although it is formed by molding, the pushing load is small, and the engaging shoulder portion 12a reliably engages with the retaining step portion 22b of the assembly rail. After this engagement is completed, the W/S becomes undercut and will not fall off from the assembly rail under normal external force. Also,
Since the tip of the lip portion 12b comes into pressure contact with the groove bottom of the assembly rail 22, a second seal point is generated in the assembly rail portion in addition to the first seal point at the edge portion of the stopper step portion 22b, improving sealing performance. do.

It consists of a base portion 33 to be fitted and a seal portion 35, and is integrally molded from non-foamed soft PVC (density approximately 1.3 g/cm 3 ). Similar to the above embodiment, the fitted base 33 is interposed between the first engaging leg 31, the second engaging leg 32, and both engaging legs so that the engaging legs 31 and 32 are brought close to each other. The bridge portion 34 is elastically bendable. The second engaging leg portion 32 has an engaging shoulder portion 32a and a lip portion 32b whose distal end side is bendable and curved inward, and the first engaging leg portion 31 has an engaging claw portion 31a. Also,
The seal portion 35 includes a glass holding lip portion 35a and a glass sliding lip portion 35b. In addition,
As shown in the figure, an insert 37 is embedded on the second engagement shoulder side in order to enhance shape retention.

The manner of use of this embodiment is the same as that of the embodiment shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, and as shown in FIG. 25a, the second engagement leg portion 32 can be pushed into the assembly rail 25 while bending the bridge portion 34. In addition, since the entire body is made of soft PVC with high modulus, the edge portion E of the retaining step portion 25b does not catch on the edge portion E. Therefore, the engagement shoulder portion 32a can be reliably engaged with the retaining step portion 25b with a small pushing load.

In each of the above examples, solid rubber and non-foamed soft PVC were used as the material for the base to be fitted.
Even if sponge rubber or foamed elastic plastic with a density of 0.8 g/cm 3 or more is used, the effect of the present invention will be similar, although the effect will be slightly reduced. When using sponge rubber or foamed elastic plastic with a density of less than 0.8 g/cm 3 , the outside of the second engaging leg tends to get caught when the second engaging leg is pushed in, making it difficult to ensure that the engaging shoulder is firmly attached to the stopper step. Engagement becomes difficult.

<Effects of the invention> As described above, the W/S of this invention has a fitted base made of rubber or elastic plastic with a density of 0.8 g/cm 3 or more, and a first engagement leg and a second engagement leg. The second engagement leg is connected via a spring-elastically bendable bridge section so as to be close to each other, and the second engaging leg section is a lip section whose distal end side is bendable and curved inwardly. Therefore, when the second engagement leg is pushed in when assembling the W/S, the engagement shoulder reliably engages with the retaining step of the assembly rail without the outside of the second engagement leg getting caught. Assembling defects are less likely to occur, and the bending of the bridge portion brings the first engaging leg portion and the second engaging leg portion closer together, reducing the pushing load during assembly, making assembly easier.
