【考案の詳細な説明】
〈技術分野〉
この発明は、自動車のドアサツシユにおけるル
ーフサイドレール部位やフロントピラー部位に取
り付けられるスポンジゴム製のドアウエザースト

大をもたらす―しないように設定されている。こ
のため、ドアの閉状態において、レール11とシ
ール部2との間に溝状空間Sが形成され、この溝
状空間Sに雨水や塵芥がたまりドア開時に車内側
へ落下したり、また、高速走行時において風切り
音が発生しやすかつた。さらに、高圧洗車時に
は、中空シール部の後側面2bにおけるシール
(主シール)用当り面だけでは十分なシール性を
得ることは困難であつた。従つて、これらの不具
合を解消するために、昨今では、シールリツプ5
等を取付け基部から突出させる等して主・副の二
点シール機能を有するようにして対処していた。
しかし、w/sの押出に際してシールリツプを設
定形状(突出角度や高さ)に制御することは困難
で、さらには、サイドレールやドアサツシユの組
付け・精度バラツキも相まつて十分なシール性を
得がたかつた。シールリツプで確実なシール性を
期待してシールリツプの設定たわみ代を大きくす
ることは、ドアの開閉力が高くなり望ましくな
