模様を現出するインサートフイルムである。 Conventionally, so-called insert films, which add patterns to plastic molded products at the same time as they are molded, have been widely used in techniques such as surface decoration of lunch boxes, water bottles, pots, cosmetic containers, and the like. However, conventional insert films merely express colored patterns, letters, etc., and there has been a demand for insert films with significant decorative effects to further enhance the value of the various products mentioned above. In view of the current situation, the present inventor has made various considerations and devises, and as a result, has completed the present invention. That is, the present invention has a pattern layer 2 and a metal vapor deposition layer 3 on a basic sheet 1 made of plastic film.
This is an insert film that exhibits a metallic luster pattern, characterized in that it is laminated with a resin layer 4 made of plastic of the same quality or type as the plastic molded product to be decorated.

印刷により形成する。 A pattern layer 2 for expressing characters, patterns, etc. and a metal vapor deposition layer 3 are provided on a base sheet 1 (see FIGS. 1 and 2). The pattern layer 2 is formed by normal printing means.
The metal vapor deposition layer 3 is also formed by a normal method, but when it is intended to be provided partially, the following method may be used. That is, first, a water-soluble resin layer is provided in a place where a metal vapor deposition layer is not required, and then metal vapor deposition is applied to the entire surface, and then when washed with water, the water-soluble resin layer portion peels off, and the metal vapor deposition layer 3 is formed in other areas. It is formed.
Another method is to first apply metal vapor deposition to the entire surface,
There is a method in which a resist layer is provided at necessary locations thereon, and then unnecessary metal vapor deposited layers are removed by cleaning with an acid or alkaline solution. According to these methods, the registration of each part of the pattern layer 2 and the metal vapor deposition layer 3 can be easily matched. Note that an anchor layer 5 may be provided on the pattern layer 2 to facilitate metal vapor deposition. The anchor layer 5 is formed by coating or printing a resin such as urethane resin, vinyl chloride resin, or polyester resin.

is made of plastic of the same quality or type as the plastic molding to be painted. The resin layer 4 may be formed by laminating means such as extrusion lamination or dry lamination, or by printing or coating means. Specifically, as the film to be laminated, a polyethylene film is used for a polyethylene molded product, a polypropylene film is used for a polypropylene molded product, and a styrene film is used for a styrene molded product. The thickness of the resin layer 4 is preferably in the range of 12 .mu.m to 40 .mu.m, and this can be easily obtained by the laminating method described above.
