In conventional transfer foils, a hairline consisting of a parallel uneven pattern for decorative purposes is applied to the entire surface of one side of the film, and a release layer, a vapor deposition layer, and an adhesive layer are directly applied on top of this hairline. Since it was constructed by laminating layers in sequence, when this transfer foil was used to transfer onto the surface of a synthetic resin molded product, a vapor-deposited hairline pattern appeared on the entire surface of the molded product, making the entire product extremely monotonous. Therefore, there were drawbacks such as limitations in the purpose and range of use of decoration. In order to improve this drawback, various methods have been proposed in which hairlines are applied only to a part of the film, but it is completely difficult to apply hairlines in a predetermined pattern or only in other parts except for a predetermined pattern. It was hot.

The transfer foil according to the present invention relates to a completely new technology developed in view of these conventional drawbacks, and in particular erases a part of the hairline formed on the entire surface of one side of the film in a desired pattern. The present invention relates to a completely new transfer foil that makes it possible to decorate the surface of a molded article that has been transfer-decorated with a mixture of areas with and without hairline patterns.

To specifically explain one embodiment of the transfer foil according to the present invention with reference to the drawings, in FIGS. 1 and 2, A is the transfer foil, which has a hairline pattern consisting of a line-shaped uneven pattern on the entire back surface. 1 is applied as a base. In constructing the transfer foil A of the present application, as shown in the figure, the hairline 1 of the film 2 has a pattern such as a predetermined figure a, a letter b, etc. as shown in FIG. 3 or 4, for example. A print 3 is formed by applying a print to a predetermined portion, and the hair line 1 that has been perforated on the entire surface is buried and smoothed by this print 3, and then this print 3 and its surroundings are By forming a release layer 4 on the entire surface of the exposed hairline 1, and sequentially applying a metal vapor deposition layer 5 and an adhesive layer 6 on the release layer 4, and integrally laminating these layers, the present invention can be applied. The transfer foil A can be configured as follows.

When using the transfer foil A of the present application and manufacturing the molded article B, as shown in FIGS. Place it so that 6 is touching,
The adhesive layer 6 is adhered to the upper surface of the molded product 7 by heating and pressing these, and then when the film 2 is peeled off from the molded product 7, the release layer 4 is removed by the action of the release layer 4. Layer 5 and adhesive layer 6 are film 2
It is possible to obtain a decorative molded product B whose upper surface is decorated with a predetermined pattern by being thermally transferred onto the molded product 7.

In the above embodiment, a case has been described in which the transfer foil A is thermally transferred, but instead of thermal transfer, the transfer foil A is interposed in the mold in advance, and synthetic resin is injected into it to mold the molded product 7. At the same time, it is also possible to manufacture by a so-called injection molding method, in which the peeling layer 4, the vapor deposition layer 5, and the adhesive layer 6 are transferred to the upper surface and decorated.

The molded product B manufactured by the process described above has a glossy smooth surface in the part corresponding to the printing 3, unlike the surrounding part corresponding to the hairline 1, and therefore only this part is patterned with a predetermined pattern. It is possible to make a vapor-deposited glossy surface c appear.

In the above embodiment, an example was described in which the vapor deposited layer 5 was applied to the entire surface of the transfer foil A and the upper surface of the molded product B, but this vapor deposited layer 5 was partially eliminated and When the film is made transparent, for example, an inorganic material is mixed between the release layer 4 and the vapor deposition layer 5 during the process of manufacturing the transfer foil A as described above, as shown in FIGS. 5 to 9. Vapor deposition removal layer 8 made of a vapor deposition removal agent such as water-based ink
When the vapor deposition removal layer 8 and the vapor deposition layer 5 laminated thereon are removed integrally, this portion is removed as a vapor deposition layer. It is possible to manufacture a transfer foil A' having a transparent portion in part by forming it on a transparent portion where no. Also, by using this transfer foil A', it is possible to obtain a decorative molded product B' having a transparent portion in part. As shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, the above-mentioned transparent portion d has a vapor-deposited glossy surface c.
It is possible to provide it on a part of the area or on the entire surface of the area. Furthermore, when the molded product 7 is molded from a transparent resin material, it is possible to see through to the back surface of the molded product B' (if the molded product is a container, the inside thereof).

The transfer foil according to the present invention is produced by printing a part of the hairline on the back side of the film, embedding the hairline in a predetermined pattern on the entire surface, and then depositing a release layer and vapor deposition layer on top of the hairline. layer,
Since it is composed of laminated adhesive layers, when it is transferred to the surface of a molded product, a glossy surface with no hair lines appearing on a part of the decoration can be created in a predetermined pattern. It is possible to change the decoration by changing the decoration, and furthermore, when a predetermined vapor deposition removal layer is interposed between the release layer and the vapor deposited layer, a transparent part without the vapor deposited layer can be made to appear in part. It has the following characteristics.
