Description
【発明の詳細な説明】
本発明は発毛促進剤、更に詳しくはコツサイホ
（骨砕補）又はコツサイホエキスを含有する発毛
促進剤に関する。

一般に発毛促進剤として使用される物質は優れ
た主目的効果を呈するとともに比較的長期間にわ
たり連用することから、特に安全性が高いことが
要求される。

本発明者等は、上述の効果を有する物質の探索
研究をなした結果、コツサイホがこの目的にかな
うことを見出し本発明を完成した。なお、コツサ
イホはウラボシ科のハカマウラボシ（Drynaria
fortunei）の根茎を乾燥したものをいい、古くよ
り接骨、止痛の要薬として用いられてきた。用途
としては接骨、止痛のほ駆〓血、消炎・強壮剤と
して腰、ヒザの筋骨の疼痛、打ち身、〓血の停滞
による痛み等に内用されている。
研究をなした結果、コツサイホがこの目的にかな
うことを見出し本発明を完成した。なお、コツサ
イホはウラボシ科のハカマウラボシ（Drynaria
fortunei）の根茎を乾燥したものをいい、古くよ
り接骨、止痛の要薬として用いられてきた。用途
としては接骨、止痛のほ駆〓血、消炎・強壮剤と
して腰、ヒザの筋骨の疼痛、打ち身、〓血の停滞
による痛み等に内用されている。
本発明の優れた発毛効果はコツサイホエキスを
アルコール水溶液に溶解したものを検体とし、こ
れを除毛クリームで脱毛したddy系雄性ラツトの
腹部に２週間塗布した結果確認した。

即ち、コツサイホ塗布群は対照群（アルコール
水溶液のみ）と比較し、塗布初期から発毛がみら
れ数日後において有意に発毛促進効果が認められ
た。本発明の発毛促進剤は発毛初期での効果が特
に顕著であり、新規発毛促進剤として有用なもの
である。

本発明の発毛促進剤の実施に際しては、コツサ
イホエキス末を配合したアルコールローシヨン、
乳液、クリーム等の外用剤型のいずれを採用して
もよく、これ等は常法に従つて製することができ
る。これ等外用剤に含有させるコツサイホエキス
の含量は約0.1％〜10％、好ましくは0.5〜５％が
考えられる。

以下、試験例及び処方例をもつて本発明を説明
する。

のコツサイホを５重量部の50％アルコールで抽出
したもの）を50％アルコールに溶解した検液（コ
ツサイホエキス含量５％）を製す。

実験結果
図１に示す如く対照群（ｎ＝10）に対し塗布群
（ｎ＝10）は有意に発毛促進効果を呈した。
