Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は発毛促進剤、更に詳しくはコツサイホ（骨砕補
）又はコツサイホエキスを含有する発毛促進剤に関する
。
一般に発毛促進剤として使用される物質は優れた主目的
効果を呈するとともに比較的長期間にわたり連用するこ
とから、特に安全性が高いことが要求される。
本発明者等は、上述の効果を有する物質の探索研究をな
した結果、コツサイホがこの目的にかなうことを見出し
本発明を完成した。なお。
コツサイホはウラポジ科のハカマウラポジ（Ｄｒｙｎ！
Ｌｒ１ａ　ｆｏｒｔｕｎｅｉ　）　　の根茎を乾燥した
ものをいい、古くより接骨、止痛の要薬として用いられ
てきた。用途としては接骨、止痛のほが駆疾血、消炎・
強壮剤として腰、ヒザの筋偶の疼痛。
打ち身、倣血の停滞による痛み等に内用されている。
本発明の優れた発毛効果はコツサイホエキスをアルコー
ル水溶液に溶解したものを検体とし。
これを除毛クリームで脱毛したａ　ｄｙ　系雄性ラット
の腹部に２週間塗布した結果確認した。
即ち、コツサイホ塗布群は対照群（アルコール水溶液の
み）と比較し、塗布初期から発毛がみられ数日後におい
て有意に発毛促進効果が認められた。本発明の発毛促進
剤は発毛初期での効果が特に顕著であり、新規発毛促進
剤として有用なものである。
本発明の発毛促進剤の実施に際しては、コツサイホエキ
ス末ヲ配合したアルコールローション、乳液、クリーム
等の外用剤型のいずれを採用してもよく、これ等は常法
に従って製することができる。これ等外用剤に含有させ
るコツサイホエキスの含量は約［）、１％〜１０％、好
ましくは０．５〜５％が考えられる。
以下、試験例及び処方例をもって本発明を説明する。
試験例 コツサイホエキス（日本粉末薬品製、１重量部のコツサ
イホを５重量部の５０％アルコールで抽出したもの）を
５０％アルコールに溶解した検液（コツサイホエキス含
量５％）を製す。
一方、実験動物としてｄｄＹ系雄性ラットを選びその腹
部を除毛クリームで脱毛し、脱毛部に検液を１日１回１
４日間塗布した。
発毛促進効果は発毛スコアーを次のように設定し１０匹
の平均値を指標として評価した。
スコアー設定 ０　　発毛みられず １　　発毛している ２　　硬毛がはえそろう ３　　硬毛の長さが正常系の約半分 ４　　正常系の状態 実験結果 図１に示す如く対照群（ｎ−１０）に対し塗布群（ｎ−
１０）は有意に発毛促進効果を呈した。
