【発明の詳細な説明】
〔産業上の利用分野〕
本発明は、家畜用飼料に関する。更に詳しくは、家畜に
対するエネルギー効率を改善し、更に脂質代謝を改善す
る家畜用飼料に関する。

近年、家畜の配合飼料は飼料効率を高める目的で、高蛋
白質、高カロリーのいわゆる濃厚飼料化される傾向にあ
るが、このような飼料を給餌することは家畜の生理上過
酷であり、脂質代謝に重要な機能を果たしている肝臓に
大きな負担がかかり、肝臓の肥大、黄色化あるいは脂質
の異常蓄積がおこるいわゆる脂肪肝症状が発生する。ま
た、体脂肪の過剰蓄積による肉質の低下や過肥による発
情の遅滞、受胎率の低下、難産による母畜の衰弱などの
問題が起こっている。
白質、高カロリーのいわゆる濃厚飼料化される傾向にあ
るが、このような飼料を給餌することは家畜の生理上過
酷であり、脂質代謝に重要な機能を果たしている肝臓に
大きな負担がかかり、肝臓の肥大、黄色化あるいは脂質
の異常蓄積がおこるいわゆる脂肪肝症状が発生する。ま
た、体脂肪の過剰蓄積による肉質の低下や過肥による発
情の遅滞、受胎率の低下、難産による母畜の衰弱などの
問題が起こっている。
本発明者らは、上記の問題を改善すべく鋭意検討を行っ
た結果、炭素数６〜１２の中鎖脂肪酸のコリン塩を飼料
中に添加することが、体脂肪の異常蓄積を低下させ、脂
肪肝の発生を抑制するという脂質代謝の改善に効果的で
あることを見出し、本発明を完成するに至った。

本発明に使用する中鎖脂肪酸のコリン塩は中鎖脂肪酸の
特長である吸収速度が速く、かつ蓄積性がないという特
長を有するばかりでなく、種々の状況下にある家畜、例
えば分娩前後の母畜、泌乳中の母畜、脂肪肝の鶏類、あ
るいは暑熱期や環境からのストレスのかかる時期の家畜
などに対するエネルギー補給、脂質代謝の改善に優れた
効果を発揮するものである。
特長である吸収速度が速く、かつ蓄積性がないという特
長を有するばかりでなく、種々の状況下にある家畜、例
えば分娩前後の母畜、泌乳中の母畜、脂肪肝の鶏類、あ
るいは暑熱期や環境からのストレスのかかる時期の家畜
などに対するエネルギー補給、脂質代謝の改善に優れた
効果を発揮するものである。
本発明の家畜用飼料における中鎖脂肪酸のコリン塩の添
加量は、０．５重量％以上、好ましくは０．５〜２０重
量％の範囲である。中鎖脂肪酸のコリン塩の含有量が０
．５重量％以下では効力が弱く、また２０重量％以上で
は含有量に見合った効果は期待できず、経済的にも不利
である。

〔実施例〕
次に本発明を実施例を挙げて具体的に説明するが、本発
明はこれらの実施例に限定されるものではない。

実施例１
表−１（前ル１用配合飼料、０日令〜２１日令まで）及
び表−２（後期用配合飼料、２１日令〜５７日令まで）
に示す組成のブロイラー用配合飼料を調製し、０日令の
チャンキー雄雛を、本発明の家畜用飼料を給与する試験
区１〜■と、中鎖脂肪酸のコリン塩を給与しないか、ま
たはその代わりに牛脂または牛脂脂肪酸コリンを給与す
る比較区Ｉ〜■に分け、５７日令まで飼養し、最終日に
各区６羽ずつ解体し、腹腔内脂肪（以下腹脂肪という）
重量と肝脂肪の重量を測定した。

実施例２
夏場の暑い時期に泌乳中６頭をＡ、Ｂの２群に３頭ずつ
分けて、１期を２週間として３期、６週間に渡って以下
のようにして調製された配合飼料をスイッチバック法（
１期、３期はＡ群に、２＃Ｊ４はＢ群に本発明の飼料の
給与を行う。）を用いて日本飼養標準に従って給与し、
各群における泌乳中の乳生産への影響すなわち、泌乳中
の乳量、乳脂率及び乳蛋白率について調べた。
