Abstract

PURPOSE:To stably produce a weldable laminated metal plate even when a conductive metal powder low in hardness such as a copper or aluminum powder is used by a method wherein a resin is applied to one of or both of the opposed surfaces of two metal plates and these metal plates are brought to a close contact state through coating surfaces to be bonded under pressure by press rolls and subsequently wound around a plurality of rolls while winding pressure is adjusted to be bonded under pressure. CONSTITUTION:A metal powder-containing resin is applied to one metal plate (strip) 11a by a coating apparatus 4 such as a spray apparatus and the coated metal plate is dried by a drying apparatus 5 to be sent to a press bonding apparatus 20. The other metal plate (strip) 11 is preheated by a metal plate preheating apparatus 3 to be sent to the press bonding apparatus 20. Both metal plates (strips) 11, 11a are bonded under pressure by the press bonding apparatus 20 while the pressure and temp. toward the centers of press rolls 21, 22 and a winding roll 23 are adjusted so as to be held for a definite time. This pressure is determined by the tension due to a tension apparatus 30 and the winding angle to the winding roll. By this method, a laminated metal plate excellent in weldability and adhesiveness is easily obtained and the quality and yield thereof can also be enhanced.

A conventional method for manufacturing such a weldable laminated metal plate is shown in FIG. Coiled metals Mj, ll, lla are prepared by a pair of uncoilers l, la, and after pretreatment in a degreasing process and a cleaning process, conductive filler and liquid resin are applied to the opposing surfaces of one or both metal plates. The mixture is uniformly diffused and coated using a coating device 4 such as a spray nozzle, and the other strip-shaped metal plate 11a is stacked on top of one metal plate 11, and the other band-shaped metal plate 11a is placed on top of the other metal plate 11, and the mixture is crimped with a pressure bonding roll 6 to obtain a composite metal plate 1.
2 is wound up by the winding device 7.

In the case of the conventional method, as shown above, since the crimping roll 6 is used for crimping, the crimping time for crimping the two metal sheets 1i11.11a sandwiching the conductive filler is extremely limited. However, it has been difficult to produce reweldable composite metal plates in a good and stable manner.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] The present invention proposes a process in which temperature and pressure are continuously applied over a period of several seconds to several tens of seconds, rather than the extremely short time crimping using only a crimping roll used in the prior art. The purpose is to press-bond two metal plates while using the device.

In FIG. 1, a metal plate 11a coated with a mixture of a filler made of conductive metal powder and a liquid resin and the other band-shaped metal plate 11 are overlapped and wound around a roll 21. After being crimped between the pressure roll 22 and the pressure roll 22, it passes over the roll 23 while maintaining pressure in the direction of the center of the roll, passes through a tension device 30, and is wound up by the winding device 7. A tension device 30 or rolls 21 and auxiliary rolls 24 and 25 are used to press the two sheets from the outside of the rolls 22 to maintain the pressing force toward the center of the rolls 21 and 22 of the two stacked metal sheets 12. It is also realized by Note that the rolls 21 and 22 are rolls whose surface temperature can be adjusted between 150 and 200°C by induction heating, etc. , is configured to be able to apply pressure in the vertical direction.
