Abstract
PURPOSE:To enlarge the adhered area of an interline adhesion layer, to increase the adhesive strength and to enable to efficiently form the air-core single-layer coil in a short time by a method wherein heat and pressure are applied to the adhered layer of a self-welding wire. CONSTITUTION:A spool body 7 is attached to a winding machine, and the self- welding wire 11 is wound around a winding section 8 as many as the winding numbers corresponding to those shown in the coil specification. Then, a pressurizing plate 9 is inserted from the opened side 13 of the winding section 8, and the fusing wire 11 is heated while applying pressure in the B direction. When the fusing wire 11 is heated, the adhered layer 6 is softened, depressed by the pressurizing plate 9 and comes in contact with the insulating layer 5 on the inside. Under this condition, as the wire material slides in the direction of coil thickness by the force coming from B direction and the coil surface is roughened, the row of wires is corrected by applying strength in the directions of C and D on pressing plates 10a and 10b. After a heating treatment has been finished, the force applied from the directions B, C and D is maintained until the coil is cooled. When the adhered layer 6 has been fixed, the insulating layer 6 is contacted, the contacting surface of the interline adhered layer 6 is enlarged as shown by A in the diagram, and the interline adhesive strength can be increased.
