Abstract

PURPOSE:To stably produce a weldable metal composite even when a conductive metal powder low in hardness such as a Cu or Al powder is used by a method wherein a resin is applied to one of or both of the opposed surfaces of two metal plates to bond both metal plates under pressure by press rolls and, after both metal plates are wound around a roll to be pressed, pressure is further applied to both metal plates from the outside thereof toward the center of the roll under control by a press belt while temp. and pressure are continuously applied thereto for several sec-several ten sec to bond both metal plates under pressure. CONSTITUTION:A metal plate 11a coated with a mixture of a filler composed of a conductive metal powder and a liquid resin is superposed on the other strip like metal plate 11 and both metal plates are bonded between press rolls 21, 22 under pressure and passed therebetween while the press bonding forces toward the centers of both rolls are held to be taken up by a taking-up apparatus through a tension apparatus 30. In this case, the holding of the press bonding forces toward the centers of both rolls 22, 23 is realized by controlling the tension apparatus 30 and/or press belt, 25, 26 for pressing two metal plates from the outsides of the rolls 22, 23. By this method, a laminated metal plate excellent in weldability and adhesiveness is easily obtained.

Such a conventional weldable laminated metal method is shown in FIG. A coiled metal plate 11, lla is prepared by a pair of uncoilers 1, la, and after pretreatment in a degreasing process and a cleaning process, a conductive filler and a liquid resin are applied to the opposing surfaces of one or both metal plates. The mixture is uniformly diffused and coated using a coating device 4 such as a spray nozzle, one metal plate is stacked on top of the other, and the other metal plate is pressed with a pressure roll 6, and the resulting composite metal plate 12 is rolled. It is wound up by the take-up device 7.

In the case of the conventional method, since the pressure roll 6 is used for crimping as shown above, two metal plates 11. It is not easy to crimp lla because the crimp time is extremely limited, and it has been difficult to produce a reweldable composite metal plate in a good and stable manner. This can be said to be extremely difficult, especially when metal powder with low hardness is used as the conductive filler.

[Problem to be Solved by the Invention 1] What the present invention proposes is not to perform pressure bonding in an extremely short period of time using only pressure rolls, which is used in the prior art (instead of applying pressure and pressure continuously for several seconds to several tens of seconds). The purpose of this is to press-bond two metal plates while effectively utilizing the material.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a composite metal plate in which a resin layer containing conductive metal powder is provided between two metal plates, in which one or both of the opposing surfaces of the two metal plates are provided. After coating the two metal plates with a resin and pressing them together with a pressure roll, the two metal plates are wrapped around the roll and pressurized, and then a pressure belt is applied from the outside of the two wrapped metal plates toward the center of the roll. It is characterized by crimping while controlling the pressure.

In FIG. 1, a metal plate 11a coated with a mixture of a filler made of conductive metal powder and a liquid resin is stacked on the other band-shaped metal plate 11, and a pressure roll 21 and a pressure roll 22 are stacked on top of each other.
Crimp between. Then roll 22 and roll 23
The sheet is passed through the roll while maintaining pressure in the center direction of the roll, passes through a tension device 30, and is wound up by a winding device. In this case, a strong tension device 30 is used to apply sufficient pressure to the two metal plates 12 bonded together for crimping.
is required. For this reason, we developed an external pressure device using an elastic belt as shown in 25.26.
