    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 右画像と左画像とが交互に表示される画像表示
    用ＣＲＴと、この画像表示用ＣＲＴの前面に取付
    られ前記右画像と左画像度とで偏光軸の方向を夫
    々が略直交するように同期して変化させる可変偏
    光素子と、観視者の左右の眼の直前に夫々が前記
    可変偏光素子の対応する偏光軸と一致して設けら
    れる偏光板とで成る立体映像表示装置において、
    前記可変偏光素子をチルト角を略４５°とし且つ
    黒色の二色性色素を添加したＧＨ型強誘電性液晶
    セルとしてあることを特徴とする立体映像表示装
    置。
