    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 照明光学系、被検査円筒物体を撮像するライン
    センサ等受光光学系、この受光光学系で得られた
    画像情報を処理する信号処理装置及び被検査円筒
    物体を軸心回りに一定回転させる回転手段とより
    構成される円筒物体検査装置において、前記受光
    光学系にて得られた被検査体の表面の画像を２値
    化し、その２値化像の円筒体軸方向への強度分布
    より、前記表面画像の画像範囲決定する手段及び
    前記画像範囲決定手段の出力により検査域を決定
    する手段とを具備してなる円筒物体検査装置。
