す拡大図、第４図は液晶表示パネルの表示画像の
画素配列パターン図、第５図はスクリーン面に表
示される合成画像の画素配列パターン図、第６図
はプリズム板の一部分の拡大断面図、第７図はプ
リズム板による光の分割状態を示す図、第８図お
よび第９図は分割された光のずれ量を説明するた
めの解析図である。第１０図および第１１図はそ
れぞれこの考案の他の実施例を示すプリズム板の
平面図である。 １……液晶表示パネル、２……光源、５……集
光レンズ、６……投影レンズ、７……プリズム板
、８……プリズム部、Ｓ……スクリーン、Ａ……

Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 赤、緑、青の三原色画素が交互に並ぶフルカラ
    ー画像を表示する表示体の表示画像をスクリーン
    面に投影する投影型表示装置において、前記表示
    体からスクリーン面への投影光路中に、前記フル
    カラー画像の三原色画素の並び方向に対して直交
    するストライプ状のプリズム部を複数本その幅方
    向に連続させて形成したプリズム板を配置し、か
    つこのプリズム板の各プリズム部を、前記表示体
    からの画像光を２方向の光に分割する断面三角形
    のプリズム部とするとともに、この各プリズム部
    の傾斜面の傾斜角度を、このプリズム部で分割さ
    れた２方向の光のスクリーン面におけるずれ量が
    スクリーン面に結像する画素幅のほぼ３／２とな
    る角度としたことを特徴とする投影型表示装置。
