    速機において、 車速を検出する車速検出手段と、 前記自動変速機のセレクト位置を検出するセレ
    クト位置検出手段と、 トランスフアユニツトのトランスフアギヤの噛
    合状態を検出するギヤ噛合検出手段と、 自動変速機がニユートラル位置で、トランスフ
    アユニツトのトランスフアギヤが非噛合状態で、
    且つ、車速が所定車速値以下である時、自動変速
    機内に設けられ、トランスミツシヨン出力軸に制
    動効果をもたらす摩擦要素を締結する出力軸制動
    制御手段と、 を備えている事を特徴とする四輪駆動車用自動変
    速機。
