第１図の高耐圧半導体装置の製造工程を示す各工
程の断面図、第３図は従来の高耐圧半導体装置を
示す断面図である。 図において、１は半導体チツプ、２は絶縁膜、
３は絶縁保護膜、４はボンデイングパツド、５は
ワイヤ線、３１はスペーサー、１１はフオトレジ
スト、１２はフオトレジストである。なお、図中
同一符号は同一、又は相当部分を示す。

- 半導体基板と、この半導体基板の表面に設けら
れたボンデイングパツドと、このボンデイングパ
ツドおよび前記半導体基板を覆うように設けられ
た絶縁保護膜とを備えた高耐圧半導体装置におい
て、前記ボンデイングパツド間および前記半導体
基板と前記ボンデイングパツド間の前記絶縁保護
膜表面が凹凸形状であることを特徴とする高耐圧
半導体装置。
