Abstract

PURPOSE: To surely collect the dust removed with a brush without splashing the dust in a duct by providing a truck with the brush rotating to peel the dust forward or backward and forming a suction passage for sucking the peeled and removed dust in the truck. CONSTITUTION: The cleaning robot is inserted into a duct and wheels are rotated by a drive motor 3 thereof to cause the self-traveling of the robot within the duct. During this self-traveling, the brush 7 at the front end of the truck 1 of the robot is rotated counterclockwise by a drive motor 9 and the dust in the duct is peeled by the brush 7 and is removed toward the rear of the brush 7. The dust removed backward in such a manner is sucked by a fan 14 along the suction passage 4 formed in the truck 1 and is collected through a flexible hose 13 into the dust collecting bag in a dust collecting box 11.

[Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a cleaning robot suitable for cleaning the inside of an air conditioning duct. [Prior Art] In the past, cleaning inside air conditioning ducts installed in buildings was done manually in large air conditioning ducts through which people could enter and exit. However, in the case of small air conditioning ducts that cannot be accessed by people, sufficient cleaning is not performed, and it is unavoidable that dust accumulates inside the ducts. However, if cleaning was necessary, the ducts had to be removed and disassembled, which was a major undertaking. In view of the above, there has been a demand for a cleaning robot that can clean the inside of a duct without requiring a person to enter the duct or removing the duct. In response to this demand, a cleaning robot that cleans the inside of a duct by itself, as shown in, for example, Japanese Utility Model Application Laid-Open No. 60-11780, has recently been developed and is now publicly known. This self-propelled cleaning robot is particularly suitable for cleaning inside small ducts that people cannot enter. [Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, previously developed self-propelled cleaning robots that have become publicly known have a brush that is attached to the tip of a cart and rotates on a vertical axis. The dust in the duct is removed by the brush, and the dust is sucked through a suction passage formed facing the brush position and collected in a dust collection bag provided on the truck. In this known cleaning robot, the brush is attached to a vertical axis and rotates as described above, so the direction in which dust scatters is not determined, and therefore the dust scatters inside the duct and cannot be sucked into the suction passage. It had some problems. In view of the above-mentioned problems, the present invention aims to provide a new cleaning robot that can reliably collect dust removed by a brush without scattering it inside the duct as much as possible. be. [Means for Solving the Problems] To this end, the present invention provides a trolley having running wheels with a brush supported on its horizontal axis that rotates so as to remove the dust in the duct in a forward or backward direction. The present invention is characterized in that a suction passage is formed in the carriage to suck the dust removed by the brush. [Operation] In this invention, the brush is supported on the horizontal axis by the cart, and the brush is rotated so as to peel off the dust in the duct toward the front or rear, so that the direction of the dust removed by the brush is always the direction of the brush. It is possible to apply strong suction to the separated area. [Example] The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to preferred embodiments shown in the drawings. In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a trolley, which is equipped with wheels 2 that are driven and rotated by a drive motor 3 and wheels 2' that rotate freely, so that it can run on its own. A suction passage 4 is formed at the tip of the cart 1 to suck in dust separated from the inner surface of the duct by a brush, which will be described later. A tip frame 6 forming a front end suction port 5 of the suction passage 4 is provided at the tip of the truck l,
A cylindrical brush 7 is supported on this tip frame 6 by a horizontal shaft 8. This brush 7 is rotatably driven by a drive motor 9 fixedly installed in the trolley l, and the brush 7 is rotated in the direction indicated by the arrow in the first drawing to peel off the dust inside the duct. That's what I do. If desired, the rotation of the motor can be reversed to dislodge the dust to the front. In the illustrated embodiment, a rubber plate 1O is provided hanging from the tip frame 6 to prevent the dust removed by the brush 7 from scattering, thereby further enhancing the suction effect of the suction passage 4. In the figure, reference numeral 11 denotes a dust collection box having wheels 12, in which a dust collection bag is removably housed. And this dust collection box 11 and the above-mentioned trolley l
and a flexible hose 1 that communicates with the suction passage 4 of the trolley L.
It is connected by 3. In the illustrated embodiment, the flexible hose 13 is shortened so that the dust collection box 11 also runs inside the duct, but the flexible hose 13 can be made sufficiently long and installed outside the duct. In the embodiment shown in the drawings, a fan 14 rotated by a motor 15 is positioned at the rear end position of the suction passage 4 of the truck l, and the suction passage 4 is rotated by the rotation of the fan 14.
Although the fan 14 is designed to have a negative pressure, the fan 14 may be provided inside the dust collection box 11. In the figure, 16.16 is a roller provided on the left side of the truck 1 and the dust collection box 11, and is designed to roll along the left side wall of the duct. On the other hand, rollers 17 and 17 are provided on the upper and right sides of the truck 1 and the dust collection box 11, and are pressed upward and to the right by the spring elasticity, and are movable against the spring elasticity, and are able to move against the ceiling wall of the duct. Alternatively, it may be pressed against the right side wall to firmly determine the positioning of the truck 1 and the dust collection box 11. When the robot of the present invention configured as described above is inserted into a duct and operated, the drive motor 3 drives the wheels and the robot moves by itself. At this time, the upper rollers 17 firmly press the cart 1 against the lower wall of the duct, and the right rollers 17 firmly press the cart 1 to the left side of the duct, thereby determining the position of the cart within the duct. Therefore, when the trolley l inside the duct moves forward, it travels on the left side, and when it moves backward, it moves back on the right side. Furthermore, by inverting the cart 1 and the dust collection box 11 or turning them sideways by 90 degrees, the holding force of the rollers 17 can clean the ceiling wall and left and right side walls of the duct. In the illustrated embodiment, the wheels 16 and 17 provided on the left and right sides of the truck 1 are arranged in one row, but it would be more effective if they were arranged in two rows. While the trolley l is running in this manner, the drive motor 9 is activated and the brush 7 is rotated in the direction of the arrow in Fig. It will be removed towards the target. The dust removed by the brush 7 is sucked along the suction passage 4 by the fan 14, passes through the flexible hose 13, and is collected in a dust collection bag in the dust collection box 11. Various further aspects can be set as embodiments of the present invention. For example, the same rotating brushes as mentioned above are installed on the top and bottom of the cart, and these two rotating brushes are attached to the cart with a spring mechanism or a pantograph structure with the top and bottom paired, and the springs cause the brushes to touch the floor and ceiling of the duct. A mode in which rotating brushes are similarly provided on both the left and right sides of the cart, a mode in which rotating brushes are similarly provided in the four directions of the top, bottom, left and right of the cart; Rotating brushes are provided on the top and bottom, and wheels or rollers are provided on both sides so that when the trolley is tilted horizontally at right angles, it can be used to clean the left and right walls, and the wheels of the trolley can be remotely controlled to freely operate forward, backward, left, and right. Examples of ways in which this can be done include:

As mentioned above, in the present invention, the brush provided at the tip of the cart is supported on the horizontal axis and rotated to remove the dust inside the duct toward the rear, so that the dust removed by the brush is This has the effect that the dust is scattered only within the suction port at the front end of the suction passage and can be reliably collected in the dust collection box without being scattered inside the duct.
