Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 本案はエンジン廃熱を貯湯して給湯等に利用す
る廃熱回収装置に関するものである。
此種装置は数多く提案されているが、何れもエ
ンジンと同時にこの廃熱水用循環ポンプも停止し
ており、特にエンジン室の温度上昇を防ぐ為にこ
の室を断熱してエンジンの冷却を廃熱水の循環放
熱のみによつて行なわれている従来装置では停止
後エンジン余熱により廃熱水が沸騰してエンジン
の潤滑油が劣化する虞れがあつた。
本案はかかる点に鑑み、エンジンの保護を図る
と共にエンジン停止後の余熱をエンジンの暖機運
転に利用するエンジン廃熱回収装置を提供するこ
とを目的とし、この目的を達成するために、本案
はエンジン停止後もこのエンジンから排出させる
廃熱水温度が貯湯タンク内の湯温度と略等しくな
るまで循環ポンプを運転させる温度制御器を設け
るようにしたものである。
以下本案の実施例を図面に基づいて説明する
と、１はエンジン室２内に断熱収納されモータ等
の負荷３を駆動するエンジン、４は断熱保温され
た貯湯タンク５内に収納された熱交換器、６は該
熱交換器と三方弁７を介して並列接続された放熱
器、８は循環ポンプ、９は市水供給用の給水管、
１０は給湯管である。
又、１１はエンジン１の廃熱水出口温度を検出
する感温器、１２は貯湯タンク５内の湯温度を検
出する感温器、１３はこの両感温器の検出差温が
略零になる迄エンジン１停止後所定時間循環ポン
プ８を運転する温度制御器である。
従つて、エンジン１駆動により負荷３を駆動す
ると共にこのエンジン１廃熱水を循環ポンプ８の
運転により通常は三方弁７を実線状態のもとで循
環させて熱交換器４に送り、貯湯タンク５内の市
水を加熱して給湯に廃熱利用する。給湯水の取り
出しがなくなり貯湯タンク５内の湯温が所定温度
迄上昇すると三方弁７が破線状態に切り換わつて
放熱器６で屋外に廃棄される。
次にエンジン１が停止されても給湯熱源側であ
る廃熱水出口側温度が貯湯タンク５内の湯温度よ
りも高い為感温器１１，１２がこれを検出して温
度制御器１３に信号を送り、両感温器１１，１２
の検出差温が略零になる迄循環ポンプ８を所定時
間運転してエンジン１停止後の余熱水を熱交換器
４に送つて貯湯タンク５内に蓄熱しておく。
而してエンジン１の再起動時、同時に運転開始
される循環ポンプ８によりエンジン１停止後の余
熱で蓄熱されている貯湯タンク５の湯温を吸熱し
てエンジン１の暖機運転に利用する。
以上の如く本案装置はエンジン停止後も循環ポ
ンプを所定時間運転するようにしたので、余熱に
よるエンジンの異常温度上昇を防止できると共に
この余熱を貯湯タンクに蓄熱し、エンジンの暖機
運転などに有効に活用できる。また、エンジンの
廃熱水出口温度と貯湯タンク温度との差温によ
り、エンジン停止後所定時間循環ポンプを運転さ
せるものであるから、余熱を十分に活用できると
ともに、蓄熱タンクの熱を放熱させる必配もな
い。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. エンジンの廃熱水を循環ポンプで断熱された貯
    湯タンク内の熱交換器に循環させるエンジン廃熱
    回収装置において、エンジン停止後も前記廃熱水
    温度が前記貯湯タンク内の湯温度と略等しくなる
    まで前記循環ポンプを運転させる温度制御器を設
    けたことを特徴とするエンジン廃熱回収装置。
