Claims (4)
- 車両を運転する運転者の異常状態を判定する運転者状態判定装置であって、
前記車両の操舵装置のステアリングホイールに振動を付与する振動装置と、
前記ステアリングホイールの振動を検出する振動検出器と、
前記ステアリングホイールの操舵角を検出する操舵角センサと、
前記振動装置を制御するコントローラと、を備え、
前記コントローラは、
前記振動装置により前記ステアリングホイールに所定の加振周波数の振動を付与し、
前記振動検出器により検出された振動に基づき、前記加振周波数における前記検出された振動の強さを表す値を算出し、
前記振動の付与中における前記振動の強さを表す値の時間変化と、前記振動の付与中における前記操舵角の時間変化との相関係数が、所定値以上である場合に、前記運転者が異常状態であると判定するように構成されている、
運転者状態判定装置。 - 前記振動検出器は、前記ステアリングホイールに印加された操舵トルクを検出する操舵トルクセンサであり、
前記振動の強さを表す値は、前記操舵トルクセンサにより検出された前記操舵トルクの前記加振周波数における実効値、又は、前記操舵トルクの実効値をレベル化したデシベル値である、請求項1に記載の運転者状態判定装置。 - 運転者の状態を検出するセンサをさらに備え、
前記コントローラは、前記センサの検出信号に基づいて、前記運転者が異常状態であると推定した場合に前記振動装置により前記ステアリングホイールに前記加振周波数の振動を付与する、請求項1又は2に記載の運転者状態判定装置。 - 前記振動装置は、前記運転者による前記ステアリングホイールの操舵操作を補助するための電動パワーステアリング装置用の電気モータである、請求項1又は2に記載の運転者状態判定装置。
