Description
シアノアクリレート接着剤などの硬化性組成物は、一般に数分で、また特定の基材によってはしばしば数秒で、広範囲の基材を迅速に接合する優れた能力でよく認められている。
<パートA>
シアノアクリレート成分としては、シアノアクリレートモノマー、例えばH2C=C(CN)-COOR(式中、RはC1-15アルキル、C2-15アルコキシアルキル、C3-15シクロアルキル、C2-15アルケニル、C7-15アラルキル、C6-15アリール、C3-15アリル、及びC3-15ハロアルキル基から選択される。)により表されるものが挙げられる。望ましくは、シアノアクリレートモノマーは、メチルシアノアクリレート、エチル-2-シアノアクリレート、プロピルシアノアクリレート、ブチルシアノアクリレート(n-ブチル-2-シアノアクリレート)、オクチルシアノアクリレート、アリルシアノアクリレート、β-メトキシエチルシアノアクリレート、及びそれらの組み合わせから選択される。特に好ましいものは、エチル-2-シアノアクリレート(「ECA」)である。
-クラウン-5-ジベンゾ-24-クラウン-8、ジベンゾ-30-クラウン-10、トリベンゾ-18-クラウン-6、asym-ジベンゾ-22-クラウン-6、ジベンゾ-14-クラウン-4、ジシクロヘキシル-18-クラウン-6、ジシクロヘキシル-24-クラウン-8、シクロヘキシル-12-クラウン-4、1,2-デカリル-15-クラウン-5、1,2-ナフト-15-クラウン-5、3,4,5-ナフチル-16-クラウン-5、1,2-メチル-ベンゾ-18-クラウン-6、1,2-メチルベンゾ-5,6-メチルベンゾ-18-クラウン-6、1,2-t-ブチル-18-クラウン-6、1,2-ビニルベンゾ-15-クラウン-5、1,2-ビニルベンゾ-18-クラウン-6、1,2-t-ブチル-シクロヘキシル-18-クラウン-6、asym-ジベンゾ-22-クラウン-6、及び1,2-ベンゾ-1,4-ベンゾ-5-酸素-20-クラウン-7が挙げられる。米国特許第4,837,260号(Sato)(その開示内容は、参照により本明細書に明示的に組み込まれる。)を参照されたい。
パートBの組成物で使用するためのカチオン硬化性モノマーとしては、エポキシモノマー、エピスルフィドモノマー、オキセタンモノマー、及びそれらの組み合わせが挙げられる。
Claims (17)
- (a)シアノアクリレート成分、その表面に疎水性基及び水性基を有するシリカ、及びカチオン性触媒を含む第1パートであって、シリカの表面の疎水性基が、ヘキサデシルトリメトキシシラン基を含む、第1パート;及び
(b)カチオン硬化性成分を含む第2パートであって、一緒に混合されると、カチオン性触媒が、カチオン硬化性成分の硬化を開始する、第2パート
を含む2パート硬化性組成物。 - シアノアクリレート成分がH2C=C(CN)-COOR(式中、Rはアルキル、アルコキシアルキル、シクロアルキル、アルケニル、アラルキル、アリール、アリル、及びハロアルキル基から選択される。)を含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- カチオン性触媒が、リチウム及び周期律表第2族の金属の塩、並びに非求核性の酸を含む、請求項1又は2に記載の組成物。
- カチオン性触媒が、10重量%水溶液として測定したときに1.0未満のpHを有する非求核性酸である、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- カチオン性触媒が、フルオロホウ酸、フルオロヒ酸、フルオロアンチモン酸、及びフルオロリン酸;テトラフルオロホウ酸リチウム、ジテトラフルオロホウ酸カルシウム、ジテトラフルオロホウ酸マグネシウム、ヘキサフルオロリン酸リチウム、ジヘキサフルオロリン酸カルシウム、ジヘキサフルオロリン酸マグネシウム、ヘキサフルオロアンチモン酸リチウム、及びヘキサフルオロヒ酸リチウム;ランタニドトリフラート塩、アリールヨードニウム塩、アリールスルホニウム塩、ランタントリフラート、イッテルビウムトリフラート、トリメトキシボロキシン、トリメトキシボロキシン-アルミニウムアセチルアセトナート、アミン-ホウ素トリハライド錯体、第4級アンモニウム塩、第4級ホスホニウム塩、トリアリールスルホニウム塩、ジアリールヨードニウム塩、及びジアゾニウム塩;トリアルコキシボロキシン系硬化剤;並びにそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択されるメンバーである、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- カチオン硬化性成分が、エポキシ成分、エピスルフィド成分、オキセタン成分、ビニルエーテル成分、及びそれらの組み合わせから選択される、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- カチオン硬化性成分が、脂環式エポキシ、芳香族エポキシ、脂肪族エポキシ、及び水素化芳香族エポキシからなる群から選択されるエポキシ成分である、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- エポキシ成分が、エポキシ官能化水素化ビスフェノールA、ビスフェノールF、ビスフェノールE、ビスフェノールS、及びビフェニルからなる群から選択されるメンバーを含む、請求項6又は請求項7に記載の組成物。
- 第1パートがデュアルチャンバーシリンジの第1のチャンバーに収容され、第2パートがデュアルチャンバーシリンジの第2のチャンバーに収容されている、請求項1~8のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 第1パートがリン酸をさらに含む、請求項1~9のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 第2パートが、可塑剤、充填剤、チキソトロープ、及び強靭化剤のうちの少なくとも1種をさらに含む、請求項1~10のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 強靭化剤が、(1)(a)エチレン、アクリル酸メチル、及びカルボン酸硬化部位を有するモノマーの組み合わせの反応生成物、(2)(b)エチレンとアクリル酸メチルのジポリマー、(3)(a)と(b)の組み合わせ、(4)塩化ビニリデン-アクリロニトリルコポリマー、(5)塩化ビニル/酢酸ビニルコポリマー、(6)ポリエチレンとポリ酢酸ビニルのコポリマー、及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択されるメンバーである、請求項11に記載の組成物。
- 第1パートと第2パートが約1:1の体積比で存在する、請求項1~12のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 第1パート及び第2パートが、各々、デュアルチャンバー容器の別々のチャンバーに収容されている、請求項1~13のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- シリカの表面の親水性基がシラノール基を含む、請求項1~14のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- シアノアクリレート成分、その表面に疎水性基及び親水性基を有するシリカ、及びカチオン性触媒を含む、組成物であって、シリカがヘキサデシルシランで後処理されている、組成物。
- シリカが170~210のBET表面積、及び0.9~1.8%の炭素含有量を有する、請求項16に記載の組成物。
