- デコーダ内に実装される方法であって、

前記プロセッサによって、前記サブピクチャサイズおよび前記サブピクチャ位置に基づいて前記サブピクチャを生成してビデオシーケンスを作り出すステップと、

- ピクチャから区分されたサブピクチャと、パラメータを備えるシーケンス・パラメータ・セット(SPS)とを備えるビットストリームを受信するように構成された受信ユニットであって、前記パラメータが、前記サブピクチャのサブピクチャサイズおよび前記サブピクチャのサブピクチャ位置についてのものであり、前記サブピクチャ位置が、前記ピクチャ内の前記サブピクチャの位置を示す、受信ユニットと、
前記SPSを解析して前記サブピクチャサイズおよび前記サブピクチャ位置についての前記パラメータを取得するように構成された解析ユニットと、
前記サブピクチャサイズおよび前記サブピクチャ位置に基づいて前記サブピクチャを生成してビデオシーケンスを作り出すように構成された生成ユニットと、
を備えるデコーダ。 - 前記デコーダが、請求項2から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法を実行するようにさらに構成された、請求項16に記載のデコーダ。
- ピクチャから区分されたサブピクチャをビットストリームへとエンコードし、
前記サブピクチャのサブピクチャサイズおよびサブピクチャ位置を前記ビットストリーム内のシーケンス・パラメータ・セット(SPS)へとエンコードする
ように構成され、前記サブピクチャ位置が、前記ピクチャ内の前記サブピクチャの位置を示す、エンコードユニット
を備えるエンコーダ。 - 前記エンコーダが、
デコーダに向けた通信のために前記ビットストリームを記憶するように構成された記憶ユニットをさらに備える、請求項18に記載のエンコーダ。 - 前記エンコーダが、請求項9から13のいずれか一項に記載の方法を実行するようにさらに構成された、請求項18から19のいずれか一項に記載のエンコーダ。
- コーディングのためのデバイスであって、
ビットストリームを受信してデコードするように構成された受信ユニットと、
前記受信ユニットに結合された送信ユニットであって、デコードされた画像を表示ユニットに送信するように構成された送信ユニットと、
前記受信ユニットまたは前記送信ユニットの少なくとも1つに結合された記憶ユニットであって、命令を記憶するように構成された記憶ユニットと、
前記記憶ユニットに結合された処理ユニットであって、前記記憶ユニットに記憶された前記命令を実行して、請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載の方法を実行するように構成された処理ユニットと、
を備えるデバイス。 - 請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法を実行するための処理回路を備えるデコーダ。
- 請求項7から13のいずれか一項に記載の方法を実行するための処理回路を備えるエンコーダ。
- コンピュータまたはプロセッサにおいて実行されるとき、請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載の方法を実行するためのプログラムコードを備えるコンピュータプログラム。
