- 前記シリカ-ジルコニア触媒が、約0.1ミクロン(μm)~約10,000μmの平均粒径を有する粒子を含む、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記シリカ-ジルコニア触媒が、Barrett-Joyner Halenda(BJH)法によって判定される、少なくとも0.01立方センチメートル/グラム(cc/g)の細孔容積を有する粒子を含む、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記シリカ-ジルコニア触媒が、Micromeritics Instrument Corp.から入手可能なAutopore IV 9520を使用する水銀圧入試験手順によって判定される、少なくとも0.1ナノメートル(nm)~約1,000nmの平均細孔径を有する粒子を含む、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記シリカ-ジルコニア触媒が、約1.0nm~約100.0nmの平均細孔径を有する粒子を含む、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記シリカ-ジルコニア触媒が、少なくとも約10m2/g~約2000m2/g又はそれ以上のBET粒子表面積を有する粒子を含む、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記多孔質シリカ粒子が、シリカゲル、沈殿シリカ、又はヒュームドシリカ粒子を含む、及び/又は
前記シリカ-ジルコニア触媒が、前記シリカ-ジルコニア触媒の総重量に基づいて少なくとも0.01重量パーセント(重量%)のジルコニアを含む、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記シリカ-ジルコニア触媒が、
水中で多孔質シリカ粒子に可溶性ジルコニウム化合物を含浸させることと、
前記含浸多孔質シリカ粒子を約105℃で約2時間乾燥させることと、
前記乾燥した含浸多孔質シリカ粒子を約500℃で約4時間焼成することと、
によって形成される粒子を含み、前記含浸工程が、前記多孔質シリカ粒子と前記可溶性ジルコニウム化合物とを約30分間接触させ、及び/又は
前記方法が、
前記含浸工程の後、及び前記乾燥工程の前に、前記含浸された多孔質シリカ粒子を約60分間粉砕させることを更に含む、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記トリグリセリド及び前記シリカ-ジルコニア触媒を含む前記組成物を混合することを更に含む、及び/又は
前記接触工程が、室温で行われる、及び/又は
前記混合工程が、室温で行われる、請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記トリグリセリド及び前記シリカ-ジルコニア触媒を含む前記組成物を、少なくとも40.0℃の温度まで加熱することを更に含み、
a)前記加熱工程が、
前記トリグリセリド及び前記シリカ-ジルコニア触媒を含む前記組成物を最高温度まで加熱することと、
前記最高温度を少なくとも10.0分間維持することと、
を含み、
b)前記加熱工程が、
前記トリグリセリド及び前記シリカ-ジルコニア触媒を含む前記組成物を最高温度まで加熱することと、
前記最高温度を約30.0分間維持することと、
を含み、及び/又は
c)前記加熱工程及び前記混合工程が、同時に行われる、請求項1~11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記接触工程が、
前記トリグリセリド及び前記シリカ-ジルコニア触媒を含む前記組成物を不活性ガス流下で混合することであって、前記不活性ガスが、窒素、アルゴン、二酸化炭素、又はこれらの任意の組み合わせを含む、ことを含む、及び/又は
前記接触工程が、
前記トリグリセリド及び前記シリカ-ジルコニア触媒を含む前記組成物を真空下で混合することを含む、請求項1~12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記トリグリセリドを含む前記組成物が、(i)油、(ii)有機溶媒、又は(iii)油及び有機溶媒の両方を含む、請求項1~13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記トリグリセリドを含む前記組成物が、食用油を含む、請求項1~14のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記トリグリセリドを含む前記組成物が、(i)トリグリセリド系油、(ii)トリグリセリドを溶解可能な有機溶媒、又は(iii)トリグリセリド系油及びトリグリセリドを溶解可能な有機溶媒の両方を含み、前記トリグリセリドを含む前記組成物が、大豆油、パーム油、トウモロコシ油、キャノーラ油、菜種油、魚油、藻類油、ヒマワリ油、オリーブ油、植物油、植物由来油、動物由来油、微生物由来油、又はこれらの任意の組み合わせを含む、請求項1~15のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記トリグリセリドを含む前記組成物が、ヘプタン、ヘキサン、トルエン、ジエチルエーテル、アルコール、又はこれらの任意の組み合わせを含む、請求項1~14のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記トリグリセリドを含む前記組成物中のグリシジルエステルが、オレイン酸グリシジルを含む、請求項1~17のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記シリカ-ジルコニア触媒の量が、前記シリカ-ジルコニア触媒及び前記トリグリセリドを含む前記組成物の総重量に基づいて、少なくとも約0.01重量%の前記シリカ-ジルコニア触媒を含む、請求項1~18のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記方法が、(i)グリシドール、(ii)グリシジルエステル、又は(iii)グリシドール及びグリシジルエステルの両方の量を、前記トリグリセリドを含む前記組成物中の(i)グリシドール、(ii)グリシジルエステル、又は(iii)グリシドール及びグリシジルエステルの両方の10.0百万分率(ppm)未満のレベルまで低減する、請求項1~19のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記方法が、前記トリグリセリドを含む前記組成物中の(i)グリシドール、(ii)グリシジルエステル、又は(iii)グリシドール及びグリシジルエステルの両方の量を少なくとも50重量パーセント(重量%)低減する、請求項1~20のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 食用油の製造方法であって、前記方法が請求項15に記載の方法を含み、前記食用油が、請求項15~21のいずれか一項に記載の方法に記載されるように前記シリカ-ジルコニア触媒と接触させる前に、精製漂白脱臭(RBD)処理に供され、前記食用油が、使用前に更なる処理を必要としない、方法。
- 前記方法が、0.2ppm未満の総遊離及び結合グリシドール(すなわち、グリシドール及びグリシジルエステル)のレベルを提供し、
前記食用油が、オレイン酸の含量として測定される初期遊離脂肪酸含量を有し、前記方法が、AOCS Official Method Ca 5a-40によって測定される前記初期遊離脂肪酸含量を約20%未満変化させる、請求項15に記載の方法。 - 前記食用油が、初期p-アニシジン値(p-AV)を有し、前記方法が、AOCS Official Method Cd 18-90によって測定される前記初期p-アニシジン値(p-AV)を10単位未満変化させる、及び/又は
前記食用油が初期過酸化物値(PV)を有し、前記方法が、AOCS Official Method Cd 8-53によって測定される前記初期過酸化物値を10単位未満変化させる、請求項15に記載の方法。
