Claims (14)
- 電池セルと、
前記電池セルに電気的に接続され、外部の電気機器本体に接続される接続部と、
前記電池セルの放電又は充電を制御する制御部と、を備えた電池パックであって、
前記制御部は、前記電池パックに関する所定の異常状態である場合、前記電池セルの放電又は充電を停止又は禁止するとともに、前記所定の異常状態であると判別した後に前記所定の異常状態でなくなったとしても、前記電池セルの放電又は充電の停止又は禁止を維持するように構成され、
前記制御部は、前記電池パックを前記電気機器本体から取り外して充電装置に接続しても前記電池セルの充電を禁止するよう構成されることを特徴とする電池パック。 - 前記所定の異常状態は、前記電池セルの電圧、前記電池セルに流れる電流、前記電池セルの温度の少なくともいずれかに関する1つ又は複数の物理量が所定の条件を満たした場合であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記所定の条件は、前記電池セルの電圧が所定値より低い状態が所定時間内に複数回発生した場合、又は、前記電池セルに流れる電流が所定値以上の状態が所定時間内に複数回発生した場合を含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電池パック。
- 前記制御部は、前記電池セルの充電を禁止する充電禁止信号を出力する、又は、前記電池セルの放電を禁止する放電禁止信号を出力するよう構成され、
前記電池パックは、前記充電禁止信号が伝達される充電禁止信号出力回路、又は、前記放電禁止信号が伝達される放電禁止信号出力回路を備えることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の電池パック。 - 前記接続部は、前記充電禁止信号出力回路を介して伝達された前記充電禁止信号を前記充電装置に出力する充電禁止信号出力端子、又は、前記放電禁止信号出力回路を介して伝達された前記放電禁止信号を前記電気機器本体に出力する放電禁止信号出力端子と、を有することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の電池パック。
- 前記制御部は、
一度前記充電禁止信号を出力すると、前記充電禁止信号の出力を維持する、又は、前記充電装置が接続されると前記充電禁止信号を再度出力する、又は、
一度前記放電禁止信号を出力すると、前記放電禁止信号の出力を維持する、又は、前記電気機器本体が接続されると前記放電禁止信号を再度出力する、ように構成されることを特徴とする請求項4又は5に記載の電池パック。 - 前記電池セルと前記接続部の間にヒューズを設け、
前記ヒューズによる過電流の遮断と、前記制御部の電気制御による充電及び放電の禁止の二系統の遮断機能を有することを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の電池パック。 - 前記接続部には、前記制御部から充電禁止信号及び放電禁止信号を出力する信号端子を含み、
前記制御部は、前記異常状態が一時的な状態にある場合は前記充電禁止信号及び放電禁止信号を解除可能とし、前記異常状態が連続的に発生する状態にある場合は前記充電禁止信号を解除不能としたことを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の電池パック。 - 複数の前記電池セルが直列に接続されたセルユニットとして少なくとも第1及び第2のセルユニットを有し、前記第1のセルユニットが前記第2のセルユニットよりも高電圧側に接続された状態で前記第1及び第2のセルユニットが互いに直列に接続される直列接続状態と、前記第1及び第2のセルユニットが互いに並列に接続される並列接続状態と、に切り替えられるよう構成され、
前記電気機器本体の端子形状によって、前記直列接続状態又は前記並列接続状態のいずれかが選択されることを特徴とする請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の電池パック。 - 電池セルと、
前記電池セルに電気的に接続され、外部の電気機器本体に接続される接続部と、
前記電池セルを制御する制御部と、を備え、
前記制御部は、前記接続部のチャタリングに起因する短い時間の短絡を検出すると、前記電池セルの充電及び放電を禁止すると共に、前記電気機器本体として充電装置に接続しても前記禁止の状態を維持することを特徴とする電池パック。 - 電池セルと、
前記電池セルに電気的に接続され、外部の電気機器本体に接続される接続部と、
前記電池セルを制御する制御部と、を備え、
前記外部の電気機器本体に接続された状態で異常状態になると、前記制御部は、電池パックを使用不能状態するよう使用禁止信号を出力し、前記電気機器本体から取り外されて別の電気機器本体又は充電装置に接続されると前記出力された前記使用禁止信号を維持する、又は、前記使用禁止信号を再出力するよう構成したことを特徴とする電池パック。 - 複数の電池セルが直列に接続されたセルユニットとして少なくとも第1及び第2のセルユニットを有する電池パックであって、
前記セルユニット間で短絡が生じた場合、前記セルユニットの放電経路又は充電経路を完全に遮断する前に、前記放電経路又は前記充電経路を所定の条件で遮断するよう構成したことを特徴とする電池パック。 - 前記電池パックを制御する制御部と、
前記放電経路又は前記充電経路に設けられたヒューズと、を有し、
前記セルユニット間で短絡が生じた場合、前記放電経路又は充電経路を前記ヒューズによって完全に遮断する前に、前記制御部によって前記放電経路又は前記充電経路を遮断するよう構成し、前記制御部による遮断はユーザの操作によって解除不能に構成されることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の電池パック。 - 請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の前記電池パックと、
前記電池パックを着脱可能な電池パック装着部と、前記接続部に接続される機器側端子部と、前記電池パックから供給される電力により駆動される負荷部と、を有する前記電気機器本体と、
を備えた電気機器。
