[実施例1]
D50が100μmに粉砕した多金属団塊1kg(乾燥状態)を水3.1Lにブレンドする。スラリーを500rpmで連続撹拌し、95℃に加熱する。合計510gのSO2ガスをスラリーに1.5時間吹き込む。その後、H2SO4 280gを、2時間でゆっくり加える。この添加中に、いくらかのSO2が溶液から放出され、その結果400gが効果的に消費される。pHは1.6に達している。スラリーをろ過によって分離する。溶液は、9g/L H2SO4を含有する。固体は洗浄する。
[実施例2]
この実施例は、実施例1に類似している。しかしながら、CaCO3の代わりに再循環させた炭酸Mn及びFeを中和剤として使用する。その結果、セッコウが形成されず、対応するろ過工程が排除される。

Claims (7)
- 酸化鉱石からCu、Co、Ni、Fe及びMnを回収する方法であって:
- H2SO4及びSO2を用いて、酸性条件で鉱石を溶解し(P1)、それによってCu、Co、Ni、Fe、及びMnを含む第1溶液(S1)と第1残渣(R1)が得られる工程;
- 第1溶液と第1残渣をS/L分離する工程;
- Cuを:
- 硫化物を含む化合物の添加によって硫化物として、又はCuよりも容易に酸化される金属の添加によって金属として沈殿させ、それによってCo、Ni、Fe、及びMnを含む酸性第2溶液(S2)とCuを含む第2残渣(R2)が得られる工程;並びに、
- 第2溶液と第2残渣をS/L分離する工程;
或いは:
- 電解抽出又はSXによって抽出し、それによってCo、Ni、Fe、及びMnを含む酸性第2溶液(S2)とCuを含む流れが得られる工程;
のいずれかによって回収する工程(P2);
- 第1酸消費化合物を添加することにより、第2溶液(S2)をpH2から5に中和(P3)し、それによってCo、Ni、Fe、及びMnを含む中和された第3溶液(S3)が得られる工程;
- 硫化物を含む化合物を第3溶液に添加することにより、Co及びNiを沈殿(P4)させ、それによってFe及びMnを含む第4溶液(S4)とCo及びNiを含む第4残渣(R4)が得られる工程;
- 第4溶液と第4残渣をS/L分離する工程;
- 第4溶液から硫化物としてMn及びFeを結晶化(P5)させ、それによって少量のMnを含有する第5溶液(S5)とMn及びFeの大部分を含有する第5残渣(R5)が得られる工程;並びに、
- 第5溶液と第5残渣をS/L分離する工程

- 第5溶液の第2画分に第2酸消費化合物を添加することにより、炭酸塩又は水酸化物としてMn及びFeを沈殿(P7)させ、それによってMn及びFeが激減した第6溶液(S6)とMn及びFeに富んだ第6残渣(R6)が得られる工程;
- 第6溶液と第6残渣をS/L分離する工程;並びに、
- 少なくとも第1酸消費化合物の一部として、中和の工程(P3)に第6残渣を再循環させる工程
を含む、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。 - - 第5残渣を熱分解(P6)させ、それによって酸化Mnを含む第7残渣(R7)及びSO2が得られる工程;
- SO2を分離する工程;及び;
- 鉱石を溶解する工程(P1)にSO2を再循環させる工程
を含む、請求項1又は3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - - 第6溶液を逆浸透(P8)させ、それによって水(S7)及び濃縮塩溶液(S8)が得られる工程;並びに、
