Claims (12)
- バッテリーセル(100)で火災や発熱などの異常現象が発生するとき、隣接したバッテリーセル(100)に火災や熱が伝播されることを防止する手段を含むバッテリーパック(10)であって、
複数のバッテリーセル(100)と、
前記複数のバッテリーセル(100)を収容するケース(200)と、
前記異常現象発生の際、前記バッテリーパック(10)のエネルギーを排出するエネルギー排出手段(300)と、
作動温度以上でエアロゾルを放出して前記バッテリーパック(10)の内部で発生する火炎を消火する消火手段(400)とを含み、
前記エネルギー排出手段(300)は、バッテリーセル(100)の電気エネルギーを熱エネルギーとして排出するための抵抗体(310)を含み、
前記消火手段(400)は、前記異常現象発生の際、前記消火手段(400)を作動させるための別途の装置を要さずに、前記抵抗体(310)で発生する熱エネルギーを用いて前記作動温度に到逹する、バッテリーパック(10)。 - 前記複数のバッテリーセル(100)は、前記バッテリーパック(10)内に2個以上に区画されて収容される、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック(10)。
- 前記エネルギー排出手段(300)は、前記抵抗体(310)と特定の区画のバッテリーセル(100)との電気的連結をオン/オフする作動スイッチ(320)を含む、請求項1または2に記載のバッテリーパック(10)。
- 前記エネルギー排出手段(300)は、前記区画のうちの一区画にのみ設けられる、請求項2に記載のバッテリーパック(10)。
- 前記エネルギー排出手段(300)は、前記区画当たり一つずつ設けられる、請求項2に記載のバッテリーパック(10)。
- 前記バッテリーパック(10)の全般的な管理及び前記エネルギー排出手段(300)の作動を制御する制御部をさらに含む、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーパック(10)。
- 前記消火手段(400)は、前記エネルギー排出手段(300)の前記抵抗体(310)に隣接して位置することにより、前記異常現象発生の際、前記抵抗体(310)で発生する熱エネルギーを用いて前記作動温度に到逹する、請求項3に記載のバッテリーパック(10)。
- 前記消火手段(400)は、消火薬剤(410)、冷却部(420)及びノズル(430)を含む、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーパック(10)。
- 前記消火薬剤(410)は、前記作動温度以下で固体形態であり、前記作動温度以上でエアロゾル形態として噴射されるAFC(aerosol foaming compound)である、請求項8に記載のバッテリーパック(10)。
- 前記AFCは、硝酸カリウム(Potassium Nitrate)、硝酸ストロンチウム(Strontium Nitrate)、及び硝酸マグネシウム(Magnesium Nitrate)のうちのいずれか1種以上を含む、請求項9に記載のバッテリーパック(10)。
- 前記エネルギー排出手段(300)及び前記消火手段(400)は、前記ケース(200)の内部に位置する、請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーパック(10)。
- 請求項1~11のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーパック(10)を含む、デバイス。
