Description
実施例1では、まず、列置方向DL(図4において左右方向)に一列に並べた8個の二次電池1を拘束治具130によって拘束して、8個の二次電池1が拘束された電池スタック100を作製した(図4参照)。なお、電池スタック100に含まれる8個の二次電池1について、図4において右端から左端に向かって順に、No.1~8と番号付けする。また、列置方向DLに隣り合う二次電池1の間には、樹脂スペーサ160を介在させている。その後、電池スタック100に含まれる各々の二次電池1を充放電し、SOC90%に調整した。これにより、電池スタック100に含まれる各々の二次電池1が、充電済みの二次電池1となる。次いで、この電池スタック100を63℃に設定された恒温室内に6時間安置することによって、電池スタック100に含まれる各々の二次電池1について高温エージングを行った。その後、電池スタック100に含まれる各々の二次電池1を、19.5℃に冷却した。
比較例1では、実施例1と異なり、電池スタック100に含まれる8個の二次電池1について、電池温度制御装置70による電池温度制御を行うことなく、検査を行った。本比較例1は、この点のみが実施例1と異なっている。ここで、比較例1における電池温度の変動(電流計測工程を行っている期間中の電池温度の推移)を、図7に示す。なお、図7には、電池スタック100に含まれる8個の二次電池1のうち、4個の二次電池1(No.1,4,5,8)の温度変動を示しているが、他の4個の二次電池1の温度変動もこれらと同様であった。

Claims (2)
- 検査対象である二次電池に電源を接続して回路を構成し、前記回路に流れる電流によって前記二次電池の良否を判定する、二次電池の検査方法であって、
充電済みの前記二次電池と前記電源とを接続して前記回路を構成する回路構成工程と、
前記二次電池の自己放電に伴って前記回路に流れる回路電流を計測する電流計測工程と、
前記電流計測工程において計測された収束後の前記回路電流の値に基づいて、前記二次電池の良否を判定する判定工程と、を備え、
前記電流計測工程を行っている期間中、前記二次電池に接触している流通管内を流通する熱媒体との熱交換によって、前記二次電池の温度を制御する電池温度制御を行う
二次電池の検査方法であり、
前記検査対象である前記二次電池は、複数の前記二次電池を列置方向に並べて拘束した電池スタックに含まれる各々の前記二次電池であり、
前記回路構成工程では、各々の前記二次電池に対して個別に前記電源を接続して、複数の前記回路を構成し、
前記電流計測工程では、各々の前記回路に流れる前記回路電流をそれぞれ計測し、
前記判定工程では、収束後の各々の前記回路電流の値に基づいて、各々の前記二次電池の良否を判定し、
前記電池温度制御として、各々の前記二次電池の温度が目標温度になるように、各々の前記二次電池の温度を個別に制御する
