Description
ロック可能なバルーンカテーテルをガイドワイヤに沿って血管内の病変部位に送出し、
ロック可能なバルーンカテーテルの前記バルーンを膨張させることにより、血管を拡張し、病変部位を途絶させ、
バルーンを収縮させ、
収縮したバルーンを血管内の病変部位から退避させ、
バルーンを再び膨張させることにより、バルーンカテーテルをガイドワイヤにロックする方法を提供するものである。
バルーン18の膨張により、バルーン18内に位置するシャフト12のロック部17が押圧されて、ガイドワイヤルーメン28の直径が減少し、その結果、シャフト12のロック部17にあたる内壁がガイドワイヤ31を包囲して、ガイドワイヤルーメン28内にロックする。例えば、図3B,3Cに示すように、バルーン膨張ルーメン24及びバルーンポート26を介してバルーン18に流体(空気)を導入することにより、バルーン18が膨張し、この膨張によりバルーン18内部空間が圧迫されて、シャフト12のロック部17が圧搾される構成とすることができる。
バルーン18の膨張及び加圧の動作に乗じて圧搾動作をし、ガイドワイヤルーメンを送出部材56’にロックする構造となっている。
Claims (5)
- 患者の管腔内の目的部位に向けて、送出部材に沿って治療器具を送出するシステムであって、ロック可能なバルーンカテーテルと、
その遠位部において治療器具を保持し、当該治療器具を前記送出部材に沿って患者体内の目的部位に配置できるよう当該治療器具と操作可能に接続された治療器具送出カテーテルとを有しており、
前記バルーンカテーテルは、
近位部、遠位部、当該近位部及び遠位部の間の内壁に設けられたRXポートを有するカテーテルシャフトと、
前記カテーテルシャフト内に設けられ、前記近位部から前記遠位部まで伸長する膨張用ルーメンと、
前記カテーテルシャフト内に設けられ、前記RXポートから前記遠位部まで伸長し、送出部材を収容可能な送出部材ルーメンと、
近位端、遠位端を有し、前記カテーテルシャフトの遠位部外周に固定され、前記近位端が前記RXポートから所定距離離れて配置され、膨張することにより血管壁に対して固定され得るバルーンと、
前記バルーンカテーテルの管壁のうち前記バルーンに当接する部分から構成されるロック部と、
前記バルーンと前記カテーテルシャフトとの間に介設され、前記カテーテルシャフトをアンロック状態とロック状態との間で遷移させるロック機構であって、
前記送出部材ルーメンの直径が、その内部で送出部材を滑動可能にする大きさである時はアンロック状態とし、バルーンの膨張により前記カテーテルシャフトの管壁のロック部が管内側に押し出されて前記送出部材ルーメンを押圧し、前記送出部材ルーメンのうち前記ロック部に押圧される略全部分の直径が、前記送出部材ルーメンが送出部材に接触してその内部での送出部材の移動を妨げる程に減少した時にはロック状態とするロック機構と、
を有しており、
前記バルーンが膨張し前記管腔内に係留した状態において、前記治療器具が、前記送出部材に沿って、管腔内のRXポート近傍の目的部位に向けて送出されるシステム。 - 前記送出部材は、ガイドワイヤであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記治療器具は、ステントであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記カテーテルシャフトは、その内壁の圧搾を促進するための可撓性部材を前記バルーン内に有していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記可撓性部材は、繊維編組物からなることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のシステム。
