Description

Claims (30)
- 喫煙材を加熱して前記喫煙材の少なくとも1つの成分を揮発させるように構成された装置と、
前記装置とともに使用するための物品であって、
喫煙材の塊と、
前記喫煙材の塊の中に配置された細長い部材であって、変動磁場の侵入によって加熱可能なヒーター材を含み、3ミリメートルと6ミリメートルとの間の幅を有し、前記細長い部材の第1の部分が、前記細長い部材の第2の部分よりも、変動磁場の侵入によってその中に誘導される渦電流の影響を受けやすい、細長い部材と、
前記喫煙材の塊と前記細長い部材との周りに配置されたカバー(30)であって、前記カバーはラッパー(32)を備え、前記ラッパーは、前記ラッパーの自由端が互いに重なるように前記喫煙材の周りに巻かれ、前記ラッパーは、前記ラッパーの重ねられた前記自由端を互いにくっつける接着剤を備える、カバーと、
前記喫煙材の塊と流体連通する通路を画定する吸い口であって、香味料を備える、又は香味料を含浸する吸い口と、
を備える、物品と、
を備えるシステムであって、
前記装置が、前記物品と協働するように構成された境界面と、前記物品が前記境界面と協働するとき、前記ヒーター材に侵入する変動磁場を発生させるように構成された磁場発生器とを含み、前記物品が前記境界面と協働するとき、前記物品は圧縮される、システム。 - 前記細長い部材には実質的に切れ目がない、又は、前記細長い部材の前記ヒーター材は、その中に切れ目又は穴を備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記細長い部材が、前記喫煙材の塊の第1の長手方向の端部から、前記喫煙材の塊の第2の反対側の長手方向の端部まで延在するように、前記細長い部材が前記喫煙材の塊の中に配置されている、請求項1又は2に記載のシステム。
- 前記細長い部材が、前記喫煙材の塊の長手方向の両端部の一方又は両方から離間している、請求項1又は2に記載のシステム。
- 前記細長い部材が、全体又は実質的に全体が前記ヒーター材からなる、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記ヒーター材が、導電性材料、磁性材料、及び非磁性材料からなる群から選択された1つ以上の材料を含む、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記ヒーター材が、金属又は金属合金を含む、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記ヒーター材が、アルミニウム、金、鉄、ニッケル、コバルト、導電性炭素、グラファイト、普通炭素鋼、ステンレス鋼、フェライトステンレス鋼、銅、及び青銅からなる群から選択された1つ以上の材料を含む、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記ヒーター材が前記喫煙材と接触している、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記細長い部材が、2つの副面によって接合された反対側を向いた2つの主面を有する、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記細長い部材が長さ、及び前記長さに垂直な断面を有し、前記断面が幅及び奥行きを有し、前記細長い部材の前記長さが前記断面の前記幅より長く、前記断面の前記幅が前記断面の前記奥行きより広い、請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記細長い部材が実質的に平面状である、又は前記細長い部材が非平面状である、請求項1~11のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記細長い部材が非平面状であり、前記細長い部材が、少なくとも1つの湾曲した主面を有する、ねじれている、又はひだ状である、請求項1~11のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記細長い部材の少なくとも一部分に触媒材料をさらに備える請求項1~13のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記物品が細長く、前記細長い部材が前記物品の長手方向軸と実質的に揃えられた長手方向軸に沿って延在するように、前記細長い部材が配置されている、請求項1~14のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記カバーが、変動磁場の侵入によって加熱可能なヒーター材を含む、請求項1~15のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記カバーが、断熱材の塊を備え、前記断熱材の塊が、エアロゲル、真空断熱材、綿、フリース、不織布材料、不織布フリース、織物材料、編物材料、ナイロン、発泡体、ポリスチレン、ポリエステル、ポリエステルフィラメント、ポリプロピレン、ポリエステルとポリプロピレンとの混紡、酢酸セルロース、紙又は厚紙、及び波形の紙又は厚紙などの波形の材料からなる群から選択された1つ以上の材料を含む、請求項1~16のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記喫煙材が、タバコ、及び/又は1つ以上の保湿剤を含む、請求項1~17のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記細長い部材が、その長さに垂直な矩形の又は実質的に矩形の断面を有する、請求項1~18のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記喫煙材が、タバコ自体、タバコ派生物、膨張タバコ、再生タバコ、タバコ抽出物、均質化タバコ、又はタバコ代替品のうちの1つ以上を含む、又は、前記喫煙材が、挽きタバコ、刻みラグタバコ、押出タバコ、液体、粉末、又は塊の形態である、請求項1~19のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記喫煙材が、ゲル、又はゲル化シートの形態である、請求項1~20のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記喫煙材が、非タバコ含有材料である、請求項1~21のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。

- 前記細長い部材が、前記喫煙材の塊によって取り囲まれている、又は囲まれている、請求項1~26のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記細長い部材が、空気に対して透過性がある、及び/又は揮発材に対して透過性がある、請求項1~27のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記細長い部材を前記喫煙材から離間する熱伝導遮蔽物を備える、請求項1~28のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記磁場発生器が螺旋コイルを備える、請求項1~29のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
