Description
図1に示すように、駆動システム100は、モータ1、エンジン5、トルクコンバータ2、及び出力軸部材3を備えている。この駆動システム100は、例えば、ハイブリッド電気自動車(HEV)に搭載される。
モータ1は、モータステータ11、及びモータロータ12を有している。本実施形態におけるモータ1は、いわゆるインナーロータ型のモータである。モータ1はさらに、図示しないモータケースを備えている。モータケースは、車体フレームなどに固定されており、回転不能である。
エンジン5は、燃料の燃焼によるトルクを出力する原動機である。エンジン5は例えば、ガソリンエンジン等の火花点火機関やディーゼルエンジン等の圧縮着火機関などを用いることができる。
トルクコンバータ2は、軸方向において、モータ1と間隔をあけて配置されている。軸方向において、エンジン5、モータ1、トルクコンバータ2の順で配列している。
図1に示すように、出力軸部材3は、トルクコンバータ2、又は、エンジン5からのトルクを駆動輪(図示省略)側へと出力する。詳細には、出力軸部材3は、トルクコンバータ2、又は、エンジン5からのトルクを、トランスミッション6を介して、駆動輪へと出力する。出力軸部材3は、トルクコンバータ2、及び、エンジン5に接続される。出力軸部材3は、トルクコンバータ2、及び、エンジン5からトランスミッション6に向かって延びている。
以上、本発明の実施形態について説明したが、本発明はこれらに限定されるものではなく、本発明の趣旨を逸脱しない限りにおいて種々の変更が可能である。
上記実施形態では、モータ1からのトルクはカバー23に入力されているが、この構成に限定されない。図3に示すとおり、インペラ22は、モータ1からのトルクが直接入力されてもよい。
図2に示すように、出力軸部材3は、第1クラッチ装置31をさらに有してもよい。第1クラッチ装置31は、エンジン5及びトランスミッション6の間に配置される。
図2に示すとおり、エンジン5と出力軸部材3とは、第1弾性部材32を介して接続されていてもよい。第1弾性部材32は、カバー23と第2クラッチ装置25との間に配置され、エンジン5と出力軸部材3とを弾性的に連結する。第1弾性部材32は、例えば、周方向に延びるトーションスプリングである。
図2に示すとおり、タービン21と出力軸部材3とは、第2弾性部材33を介して接続されていてもよい。第2弾性部材33は、タービン21と出力軸部材3とを弾性的に連結する。第2弾性部材33は、例えば、周方向に延びるトーションスプリングである。第2弾性部材33の周方向の両端面は、タービン21と出力軸部材3とによって支持されている。
上記実施形態では、第1弾性部材32がトルクコンバータ2の内部に収容されているが、この構成に限定されない。図4に示すとおり、第1弾性部材32は、トルクコンバータ2の外部に配置されてもよい。
以上のように構成された駆動システム100では、車両の発進時には、モータ1→トルクコンバータ2→出力軸部材3→トランスミッション6の順でトルクを伝達する。この時、一方向クラッチを備えていれば、エンジン5は停止可能である。そのため、エンジン5の機械的摩擦損失(エンジンフリクションロス)が低減する。さらに、モータ1のトルクは、トルクコンバータ2により低減できる。そのため、モータ1の低電圧化、又は、小型化が可能である。さらに、モータ1の発熱も低減できる。

- モータと、
エンジンと、
前記モータのトルクが入力されるトルクコンバータと、
前記モータが駆動する場合は前記トルクコンバータから入力されるトルクを出力し、前記エンジンが駆動する場合は前記エンジンから入力されるトルクを出力する出力軸部材と、
を備え、
前記エンジンは、前記トルクコンバータを介さずに前記出力軸部材にトルクを出力し、
前記モータは、前記トルクコンバータを介してのみ前記出力軸部材にトルクを出力する、
駆動システム。

- 前記エンジンと前記出力軸部材とは、第1弾性部材を介して接続されている、
