Claims (18)
- 液体を噴射するノズルに連通する圧力室と、
前記圧力室内の液体の圧力を変化させる駆動素子と、
前記ノズルから液体を噴射させる圧力の変化を発生させる噴射パルスを前記駆動素子に供給する駆動回路と
を具備する液体噴射装置の制御方法であって、
前記ノズル内の液体の表面張力を、前記圧力室内の液体の圧力を変化させたときの残留振動から特定し、
前記表面張力に応じて前記噴射パルスの波形を制御する

前記圧力室内の液体の圧力を変化させる駆動素子と、
前記ノズルから液体を噴射させる圧力の変化を発生させる噴射パルスを前記駆動素子に供給する駆動回路と、
前記ノズル内の液体の表面張力を、前記圧力室内の液体の圧力を変化させたときの残留振動から特定する特定部と、
前記表面張力に応じて前記噴射パルスの波形を制御する制御部と
を具備する液体噴射装置。 - 前記残留振動の周波数から前記表面張力を特定する
請求項10の液体噴射装置。 - 前記周波数が第3値である場合に特定される前記表面張力は、前記周波数が前記第3値を上回る第4値である場合に特定される前記表面張力を下回る
請求項11の液体噴射装置。 - 前記噴射パルスの波形の制御においては、前記表面張力が第7値である場合における前記噴射パルスの振幅値が、前記表面張力が前記第7値を上回る第8値である場合における前記噴射パルスの振幅値を下回るように、前記噴射パルスの振幅値を制御する
請求項10から請求項12の何れかの液体噴射装置。 - 前記特定部は、前記ノズル内の液体の粘度を、前記圧力室内の液体の圧力を変化させたときの残留振動から更に特定し、
