Claims (15)
- 第1の主面と第1の裏面を有し、中央に第1の孔を有する円板状の第1の導光板の上に、第2の主面と第2の裏面を有し、中央に第2の孔を有する円板状の第2の導光板が配置し、
前記第1の導光板の前記裏面側には反射シートが配置し、
前記第2の導光板の前記主面側にはプリズムシートが配置し、
前記プリズムシートには同心円状に第1のプリズムアレイが形成され、
前記第1の導光板の前記孔の側面に円周方向に複数の第1のLEDが配置し、前記第2の導光板の前記孔の側面に円周方向に複数の第2のLEDが配置し、
前記第1のLEDと前記第2のLEDは、方位角方向にずれて配置していることを特徴とする照明装置。 - 前記第1の導光板の前記主面には、半径方向に放射状に延在し、円周方向に配列する第2のプリズムアレイが形成され、前記第1の導光板の前記裏面には、円周方向に同心円状に形成された第3のプリズムアレイが形成され、
前記第2の導光板の前記主面には、半径方向に放射状に延在し、円周方向に配列する第4のプリズムアレイが形成され、前記第1の導光板の前記裏面には、円周方向に同心円状に形成された第5のプリズムアレイが形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の照明装置。 - 前記第1の導光板は、前記第1のLEDと半径方向に対向する扇形の第1の領域と、前記第1のLEDと半径方向に対向しない第2の領域を有し、
前記第2のプリズムアレイと前記第3のプリズムアレイは前記第1の領域に形成され、前記第2の領域には形成されておらず、
前記第2の導光板は、前記第2のLEDと半径方向に対向する扇形の第3の領域と、前記第2のLEDと半径方向に対向しない第4の領域を有し、
前記第4のプリズムアレイと前記第5のプリズムアレイは前記第3の領域に形成され、前記第4の領域には形成されていないことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の照明装置。 - 前記第1の導光板の前記第1の領域と前記第2の導光板の前記第4の領域は平面で視て重複していることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の照明装置。
- 前記第1のプリズムアレイの高さは、前記第2のプリズムアレイの高さ及び前記第4のプリズムアレイの高さよりも大きいことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の照明装置。
- 前記第1のプリズムアレイのピッチは、前記第2のプリズムアレイのピッチ及び前記第4のプリズムアレイのピッチよりも大きいことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の照明装置。
- 前記第1のプリズムアレイの高さ及びピッチは、前記第3のプリズムアレイ及び前記第5のプリズムアレイの高さ及びピッチよりも大きいことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の照明装置。
- 前記照明装置は、さらに、円板状のフランジと前記円板状のフランジの中心付近に形成され、前記円板状のフランジの中央付近において、円柱状に突出した軸を有するフレームを有し、
前記反射シート、前記第1の導光板、前記第2の導光板、前記プリズムシートは、この順で前記フランジの上に載置され、
前記軸の周囲には、前記複数の第1のLEDと前記複数の第2のLEDが取り付けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の照明装置。 - 前記プリズムシートの前記第1のプリズムアレイは、前記プリズムシートの前記第2の導光板に対向する面に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 前記プリズムシートの上には、第1の方向に延在し、第2の方向に配列した複数のレンズを有する、外形が円形である第1の液晶レンズが配置していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 前記第1の液晶レンズの上には、前記第2の方向に延在し、前記第1の方向に配列した複数のレンズを有する、外形が円形である第2の液晶レンズが配置していることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の照明装置。
- 前記第1の液晶レンズ及び前記第2の液晶レンズにおける液晶分子の初期配向はホモジニアス配向であることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の照明装置。
- 前記プリズムシートの上には、同心円状に複数のレンズを有する、外形が円形である液晶レンズが配置しており、
前記液晶レンズにおける液晶分子の初期配向は、ホメオトロピックであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の照明装置。 - 前記プリズムシートの上には、外形が円形で、第1の基板と第2の基板の間に液晶層が挟持された液晶レンズが配置し、
前記第1の基板には、同心円状の複数の第1の電極が形成され、
前記第2の基板には、平面状に形成された円形の電極が形成され、
前記液晶レンズは、前記複数の第1の電極に互いに異なる電圧を印加することによってレンズ作用を発現し、
前記液晶層における液晶分子の初期配向はホメオトロピックであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の照明装置。 - 前記液晶層に形成されたレンズの屈折率は、前記液晶レンズの端部において最も小さく、前記液晶レンズの中央部において最も大きいことを特徴とする請求項14に記載の照明装置。
