Description

本発明に従った方法は、洗濯洗剤組成物を希釈する工程を含む。洗濯洗剤組成物は、6超、又は6未満のpHを有し得る。
濃縮酸送達源は、後述する活性剤を含む繊維状水溶性単位用量を含む。本明細書で使用するとき、という句「水溶性単位用量物品」、「水溶性繊維状構造体」、及び「水溶性繊維状要素」という句は、単位用量物品、繊維状構造体、及び繊維状要素が水と混和性であることを意味する。換言すれば、単位用量物品、繊維状構造体、又は繊維状要素は、周囲条件で水と均質な溶液を形成することができる。本明細書で使用するとき、「周囲条件」は、23℃±1.0℃及び相対湿度50%±2%を意味する。繊維状水溶性単位用量は、水性洗浄条件で約20マイクロメートル未満又は約50マイクロメートル未満の懸濁平均粒径で分散可能である不溶性材料を含有し得る。
繊維状構造体は、1つ以上の繊維状要素を含む。繊維状要素は、互いに関連付けられて構造体を形成することができる。繊維状構造体は、構造体内及び又は構造体上に粒子を含み得る。繊維状構造体は、均質、層状、単一、ゾーン形、又は他の点で望ましいとおりであってよく、異なる活性剤が様々な前述の部分を画定する。
繊維状要素は、水溶性であり得る。繊維状要素は、1つ以上のフィラメント形成材料及び/又は界面活性剤などの1つ以上の活性剤を含み得る。1つ以上の活性剤は、意図される使用条件に繊維状要素及び/又は繊維状要素を含む繊維状構造体が曝されたときなどに、繊維状要素から放出可能であり得る。
(R)(R1)(R2)(R3)N+X-
式中、Rは、直鎖状又は分岐状、置換又は非置換のC6~18アルキル又はアルケニル部分であり、R1及びR2は、独立して、メチル又はエチル部分から選択され、R3は、ヒドロキシル、ヒドロキシメチル又はヒドロキシエチル部分であり、Xは、電荷的中性を提供するアニオンであり、好適なアニオンとしては、例えばクロリドのようなハロゲン化物、硫酸塩、及びスルホン酸塩である。好適なカチオン性洗浄性界面活性剤は、モノ-C6~18アルキルモノ-ヒドロキシエチルジメチル四級アンモニウムクロリドである。非常に好適なカチオン性洗浄性界面活性剤は、モノ-C8~10アルキルモノ-ヒドロキシエチルジメチル四級アンモニウムクロリド、モノ-C10~12アルキルモノ-ヒドロキシエチルジメチル四級アンモニウムクロリド、及びモノ-C10アルキルモノ-ヒドロキシエチルジメチル四級アンモニウムクロリドである。
本明細書に記載の繊維状水溶性単位用量は、1つ以上の活性剤を含有し得る。活性薬剤は、繊維状要素中に、異なる粒子の形態で、粒子の形態で若しくは粒子に一体化され、又は、物品中にプレミックスとして、存在することができる。プレミックスは、例えば、水性吸収剤と組み合わされた活性剤のスラリーであり得る。
布地処理組成物は、2018年11月7日に出願された、米国特許出願第62/756,672号(最初の発明者はDelaney,Sarah Ann)に記載されているものといった、酸性布地処理組成物であり得る。参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
布地処理組成物は、1つ以上の有機酸を含み得る。布地処理組成物は有機酸系を含み得、この系は、1つ以上の有機酸を含み得る。組成物は、少なくとも2つの有機酸を含み得る。有機酸系は、少なくとも酢酸、及び第2の有機酸、例えば、クエン酸を含み得る。本開示の有機酸は、約80ダルトン未満の分子量を有し得る。
布地処理組成物は、芳香材料を含み得る。芳香材料を添加して、液体製品組成物、処理液、及び/又は、組成物で処理した布地に、審美的に心地よい芳香を付与する。本開示の組成物は、組成物の約0.1重量%~約20重量%、又は約0.2重量%~約10重量%、又は約0.3重量%~約5重量%の界面活性剤系を含み得る。
以下の試験では、単独で又は組み合わせでの、本明細書に記載する複数の洗剤、すすぎ液、及び濃縮酸送達源を比較する。具体的には、酸すすぎ液(9 Elements Rinse)及び本発明の濃縮酸送達システムの両方を用いる際の、9 elementsの低pHフォーミュラ洗剤、中pH(8.5のpH)のフォーミュラ洗剤、及びPlatinum Advanced Shirt&Laundry Detergentの使用。
ASは、Stepan(Northfield,Illinois,USA)によって供給されているC12~14サルフェート、及び/又は中鎖分岐状アルキルサルフェートである。
PEG-PVAcポリマーは、ポリエチレンオキシド主鎖及び複数のポリ酢酸ビニル側鎖を有する、ポリ酢酸ビニルグラフト化ポリエチレンオキシドコポリマーである。ポリエチレンオキシド骨格鎖の分子量は、約6000であり、ポリエチレンオキシドのポリ酢酸ビニルに対する重量比は、約40~60であり、50のエチレンオキシド単位当たり1個以下のグラフト点である。BASF(Ludwigshafen,Germany)より販売される。
エトキシル化ポリエチレンイミン(PE20)は、-NH当たり20のエトキシレート基を有する、600g/モル分子量のポリエチレンイミンコアである。BASF(Ludwigshafen,Germany)より販売される。
シトロコート(NF5000)は、Jungbunzlauer(Basel,Switzerland)から入手可能である。
PVOH及びCelvol(登録商標)は、Dallas Texas所在のSekisui Specialty Chemicals America,LLCから入手可能である。
本明細書において特に明記しない限り、組成物のpHは、20±2℃の組成物の未希釈pHとして定義される。pHを±0.01pH単位まで測定することができる任意の計測器が好適である。Orion meters(Thermo Scientific,Clintinpark-Keppekouter,Ninovesteenweg 198,9320 Erembodegem-Aalst,Belgium)又は等価物が、許容可能な計器である。pH計は、カロメル又は銀/塩化銀基準を有する好適なガラス電極を備えていなければならない。例としては、Mettler DB 115が挙げられる。電極は、製造業者が推奨する電解質溶液中で保管する必要がある。pHは、pHメーター製造業者の標準的な手順に従って測定される。更に、pHアセンブリを設定し較正するには、製造業者の指示に従うべきである。
染み除去の試験は、家庭での洗濯において、染み除去性能を評価するためのASTM4265-14規格ガイドにより提供される案内に沿って、Front Loader HEマシンにおいて実施する。22個の染みを含有する綿CW120の、技術的な染み見本を購入した。染み見本は、ガロン硬度当たり7グレインを使用し、86Fでの通常サイクルを選択し、下表に列挙する、対応する洗剤組成物の各々を使用して、従来の北米式洗浄機(Whirlpool(登録商標))で洗浄した。標準的な前面充填式HE洗濯機の容積は、およそ18リットルであることに注意されたい。画像解析を使用して、各染みを染みの付いていない布地の対照例と比較した。ソフトウエアは得られる画像を標準の色値に変換し、通常使用されるマクベス色保持チャートに基づいてそれらを基準値と比較し、各染みに色値を割り当てた(染みレベル)。各々の8つの複製を作製した。次いで、染み除去指数を以下に示す式に従って計算した。
実施例。9-Elementsすすぎ配合物の上部に、9-Elements PowerTabを添加することにより、既に低pHとなったすすぎ環境において、すすぎ液のpHを下げる効果
本実施例は、9-Elementsのクエン酸液体すすぎ配合物の上部で、すすぎ液に9-Elements PowerTabクエン酸配合物(濃縮酸送達源)を添加することによって達成された、改善された染み除去の効能を示し、これにより、すすぎ液のみと比較して、優れた染み洗浄が可能となる。過剰の酸を洗濯サイクルのすすぎ工程に添加すると、クエン酸が、すすぎ液中でビルダスカベンジャ金属として作用する能力によって、金属感受性の染みの除去が、サイクルの洗浄部分を超えて継続することが可能となる。
Claims (13)
- 布地を洗濯する方法であって、
a.布地を洗浄液と組み合わせる工程であって、前記洗浄液が、洗濯洗剤組成物を水に添加することにより作製される、工程と、
b.前記布地を、自動洗浄操作、手動洗浄操作、又はそれらの組み合わせを使用して、前記洗浄液中で洗浄した後にすすぎ液中ですすぐ工程であって、前記すすぎ液が、繊維状水溶性単位用量の形態の濃縮酸送達源を含む、工程と、
c.前記布地と前記すすぎ液とを互いに分離する工程と、
d.前記布地を乾燥させる工程と、
を含み、
前記洗浄液のpHがアルカリ性であり、前記すすぎ液のpHが3~5.3である、方法。 - a.前記布地が、10℃~60℃の温度で、前記洗浄液中で洗浄され、
b.工程bにおける前記洗浄操作が、5分~60分間行われ、
c.又はこれらの組み合わせである、
請求項1に記載の布地を洗濯する方法。 - 前記すすぎ液が、酸性布地処理組成物を更に含む、請求項1又は2に記載の布地を洗濯する方法。
- 前記洗濯洗剤組成物が、液体であり、前記液体洗濯洗剤組成物が、7超~10のpHを有し、前記液体洗濯洗剤組成物のpHが、未希釈pHとして測定される、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の布地を洗濯する方法。
- 前記酸性布地処理組成物が、液体であり、前記液体酸性布地処理組成物が、2~5のpHを有し、前記液体酸性布地処理組成物のpHが、未希釈pHとして測定される、請求項3に記載の布地を洗濯する方法。
- 前記繊維状水溶性単位用量が、単独又は組み合わせのいずれかで、酢酸、アジピン酸、アスパラギン酸、カルボキシメチルオキシマロン酸、カルボキシメチルオキシコハク酸、クエン酸、ギ酸、グルタル酸、グルコン酸、ヒドロキシエチルイミノ二酢酸、イミノ二酢酸、乳酸、マレイン酸、リンゴ酸、マロン酸、オキシ二酢酸、オキシジコハク酸、コハク酸、スルファミン酸、酒石酸、酒石二コハク酸、酒石モノコハク酸、これらの塩、又はこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される活性剤酸を含む、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の布地を洗濯する方法。
- 前記活性剤酸が、クエン酸及びクエン酸ナトリウムである、請求項6に記載の布地を洗濯する方法。
- 前記繊維状水溶性単位用量が、コーティングされたクエン酸を含む、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の布地を洗濯する方法。
- 前記繊維状水溶性単位用量が、外側表面上に苦味剤を含む、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載の布地を洗濯する方法。
- 前記繊維状水溶性単位用量が、活性剤を含み、前記活性剤が、前記繊維状水溶性単位用量の50重量%~70重量%の量で、前記繊維状水溶性単位用量に組み込まれている、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の布地を洗濯する方法。
- 前記繊維状水溶性単位用量が、水溶性繊維状構造体を含み、前記活性剤を含有する粒子が、前記水溶性繊維状構造体全体にわたって分布している、請求項10に記載の布地を洗濯する方法。
- 前記水溶性繊維状構造体が、界面活性剤を含む繊維状要素を含む、請求項11に記載の布地を洗濯する方法。
- 前記水溶性繊維状構造体が、デンプンを含む繊維状要素を含む、請求項11又は12に記載の布地を洗濯する方法。
