Claims (8)
- 搬送装置によって帯状のガラスフィルムを横搬送方向に沿って搬送する搬送工程と、前記ガラスフィルムをロール状に巻き取る巻取工程と、を備えるガラスロールの製造方法において、
前記搬送装置は、
前記横搬送方向に沿って間隔をおいて配置されるとともに、前記ガラスフィルムを支持する第一支持部及び第二支持部と、
前記第一支持部と前記第二支持部との間に設けられる中間搬送領域と、
前記中間搬送領域を通過する前記ガラスフィルムに張力を付与する張力付与部と、
前記中間搬送領域を通過する前記ガラスフィルムに係る幅方向の各端部の状態を測定する検出部と、
前記検出部によって測定されたデータに基づいて前記ガラスフィルムの前記各端部の長さを算出する制御装置と、を備え、
前記搬送工程は、前記中間搬送領域を通過する前記ガラスフィルムに前記張力付与部による張力を付与した状態で、前記検出部によって、前記ガラスフィルムの前記各端部の状態を測定する検査工程を備え、
前記検査工程では、前記制御装置は、前記検査部によって測定されたデータに基づいて前記ガラスフィルムの前記各端部の前記長さを算出し、その後、前記ガラスフィルムの一方の前記端部の前記長さと前記ガラスフィルムの他方の前記端部の前記長さとの差を算出することを特徴とするガラスロールの製造方法。 - 前記検出部は、前記中間搬送領域を通過する前記ガラスフィルムの幅方向の一端部との距離を測定する第一検出部と、前記ガラスフィルムの幅方向の他端部との距離を測定する第二検出部とを含む請求項1に記載のガラスロールの製造方法。
- 前記張力付与部は、前記ガラスフィルムを送り出す巻出装置と、前記ガラスフィルムをロール状に巻き取る巻取装置とを含む請求項1又は2に記載のガラスロールの製造方法。
- 搬送装置によって帯状のガラスフィルムを横搬送方向に沿って搬送する搬送工程と、前記ガラスフィルムをロール状に巻き取る巻取工程と、を備えるガラスロールの製造方法において、
前記搬送装置は、
前記横搬送方向に沿って間隔をおいて配置されるとともに、前記ガラスフィルムを支持する第一支持部及び第二支持部と、
前記第一支持部と前記第二支持部との間に設けられる中間搬送領域と、
前記中間搬送領域を通過する前記ガラスフィルムに張力を付与する張力付与部と、
前記中間搬送領域を通過する前記ガラスフィルムに係る幅方向の各端部の状態を測定する検出部と、を備え、
前記搬送工程は、前記中間搬送領域を通過する前記ガラスフィルムに前記張力付与部による張力を付与した状態で、前記検出部によって、前記ガラスフィルムの前記各端部の状態を測定する検査工程を備え、
前記搬送工程の前に、成形装置によって溶融ガラスを成形することで前記ガラスフィルムを形成する成形工程を備え、
前記張力付与部は、前記ガラスフィルムを固定保持した状態で搬送する固定搬送部と、前記ガラスフィルムをロール状に巻き取る巻取装置とを含むことを特徴とするガラスロールの製造方法。 - 前記固定搬送部は、吸着コンベアを含む請求項4に記載のガラスロールの製造方法。
- 前記搬送装置は、前記中間搬送領域に配置されるとともに、前記ガラスフィルムを搬送する補助搬送装置を備え、
前記検出部は、前記補助搬送装置の上方に配される請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のガラスロールの製造方法。 - 前記成形工程において、前記成形装置は、前記検出部によって検出された前記ガラスフィルムの前記各端部の状態に応じて、前記ガラスフィルムに付与する張力を調整する請求項4又は5に記載のガラスロールの製造方法。
- 前記巻取装置は、その巻取力によって前記中間搬送領域を通過する前記ガラスフィルムに張力を付与する請求項3から5のいずれか一項に記載のガラスロールの製造方法。
