Description
第1の形成部材(「雄ロール」など)182は、別個の離間した雄形成要素112を含む複数の第1の形成要素を含む表面を有する。これらの雄形成要素は、機械方向及び機械横方向において離間されている。
図10に示されているように、第2の形成部材(「雌ロール」など)190は、複数のくぼみ又は陥凹部114を有する表面124を有する。陥凹部114は、雄成形要素112をその中に受容するように整列及び構成される。したがって、雄形成要素112は、単一の雄形成要素112が単一の陥凹部114の外周内に、並びにz方向において少なくとも部分的に陥凹部114内に適合するように、陥凹部114と嵌合する。陥凹部114は、雄要素112の平面外周よりも大きい平面外周126を有する。その結果、ロール182と190が噛合すると、雌ロール上の陥凹部114は、別個の雄要素112を完全に包含することができる。陥凹部114は、図12に示されている深さD1を有する。一部の場合において、陥凹部の深さD1は、雄形成要素112の高さH1よりも大きくあり得る。
試験片のZD圧縮を、測定した力がセルの限界の10%~90%以内となるロードセルを使用する定速の伸張引張試験機(好適な計器は、MTS Systems Corp.(Eden Prairie,MN)から入手可能な、Testworks4.0Softwareを使用するMTS Allianceである)で測定する。底部静止固定具は、直径100mmの円形のステンレス鋼プラテンであり、上部可動式固定具は、直径40.00mmの円形のステンレス鋼プラテンである。両方のプラテンは、プラテンを互いに水平かつ引張試験機の引く方向に直交して固定することが可能な、引張試験機のマウントと適合するアダプタを有する。全ての試験は、23℃±3℃及び50%±2%の相対湿度に制御された部屋にて行われる。
サンプルの束圧縮特性を、測定した力がセルの限界の10%~90%以内となるロードセルを使用した定速の延伸引張試験機(好適な計器は、MTS Systems Corp.(Eden Prairie,MN)から入手可能な、Testworks4.0Softwareを使用したMTS Alliance、又は同等品である)で測定する。全ての試験は、23℃±3℃及び50%±2%の相対湿度に制御された部屋にて行われる。試験は湿潤状態又は乾燥状態で実施することができる。
曲げ剛性は、Kawabata Evaluation System KES-FB2-A、Pure Bend Tester Sensor(カトーテック株式会社(日本)から入手可能)を用いて測定し、機械方向(MD)及び横断方向(CD)の両方についてgfcm2/cmで報告する。計器は、製造元の指示に従って較正される。全ての試験は、約23℃±2℃及び相対湿度約50%±2%にて行う。
細孔容積分布は、吸収性本体内の有効孔の推定気孔率を測定する。アプローチは、(i)流体飽和膜を介して流体を吸収/脱着することができる材料に、予め選択された増分的な静水気圧を印加し、(ii)各圧力で材料によって吸収/脱着される流体の増分及び累積量を決定する。材料と膜との間の良好な接触を確実にし、適切な機械的拘束圧を印加するように、重りを材料上に位置する。サンプルの細孔容積分布は、約5μm~1000μmで測定することができる。分配曲線から、毛管作用能力(CWP)を計算することができる。

KRYLONスプレー塗料(FilmTools Gloss White Spray Paint#1501)を使用して、直径9cm×厚さ0.6cmのMonel多孔性フリット807(Mott Corp,CTから入手可能)にフィルタを接着することによって、直径9cm、0.22μm膜フィルタ(混合セルロースエステル、Millipore GSWP、EMD Millipore Corp.(Billerica MA))を使用する。フリット/膜を使用前に乾燥させる。

Claims (9)
- トップシートを備えた吸収性物品であって、第1の不織布ウェブ層と、バックシートと、連続気泡HIPEフォーム層を備える吸収性コア構造体と、前記HIPEフォーム層の下の第2の不織布ウェブ層と、を備え、
前記トップシートは、前記第1の不織布ウェブの繊維が前記HIPEフォーム層内へZ方向に沿って変位された変形部であって前記変形部及び前記HIPEフォーム層の繊維が同じ第1のX-Y平面内に存在する変形部のパターンを有し、
単一の第2のX-Y平面内において前記第1の不織布ウェブからの繊維が前記第2の不織布ウェブの繊維と接触するように、前記第1の不織布ウェブの繊維のグループが、前記HIPEフォーム層の中に物理的に挿入され且つ前記HIPEフォーム層を通過しており、
前記第1のX-Y平面及び前記第2のX-Y平面は、前記吸収性物品の厚み方向に直交する平面である、吸収性物品。 - 前記トップシート及び前記HIPEフォームが、1つ以上のウェルを備える、請求項1に記載の吸収性物品。
- 前記繊維のグループの少なくとも一部分が、ウェルの外表面の一部分を形成する、請求項1又は2に記載の吸収性物品。
- 前記吸収性コア構造体が、基材及び超吸収性ポリマー材料を含む下層を含む、請求項1~3のいずれかに記載の吸収性物品。
- 前記トップシート及び前記HIPEフォーム層が、支柱によって接続された結節点のパターンを含む、請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の吸収性物品。
- 前記結節点及び支柱のパターンが、前記支柱間の間隙を含む、請求項5に記載の吸収性物品。
- 前記吸収性コア構造体が、前記パターンにおける支柱の長さ以上の長さを有する熱可塑性繊維を含む、請求項5に記載の吸収性物品。
- 前記熱可塑性繊維が、10本超の繊維を含む束の形態である、請求項7に記載の吸収性物品。
- 前記トップシートが第1の面及び第2の面を有し、前記複数のウェルが整列する方向に沿った断面において、前記トップシートの前記第1の面及び前記第2の面が前記複数のウェルに応じて波形である、請求項1~8のいずれかに記載の吸収性物品。
