Abstract
Description
さらに、失火カウンタ値が所定値に達したときに、当該気筒において失火が発生していると判定するので、内燃機関の回転速度の一時的な低下やその検出信号のノイズなどによる単失火の誤検出の影響をダイレクトに受けることなく、失火の有無の判定と失火が発生した気筒の特定を精度良く行うことができる。
また、失火カウンタ値が所定値に達した後、単失火が検出されるごとに、当該気筒の点火時期を所定量ずつ進角側に補正する。

Claims (3)
- 複数の気筒を有する内燃機関の回転速度を表す回転速度パラメータを検出する回転速度パラメータ検出手段と、
前記複数の気筒の各燃焼行程において検出された回転速度パラメータに基づき、点火ごとの失火である単失火を前記気筒ごとに検出する単失火検出手段と、
当該単失火が検出された回数を失火カウンタ値として前記気筒ごとにカウントする失火カウンタと、
当該失火カウンタ値に基づき、当該気筒において失火が発生しているか否かを判定する失火判定手段と、
当該失火が発生していると判定された気筒の点火時期を進角側に補正する点火時期補正手段と、を備え、
前記失火判定手段は、前記失火カウンタ値が所定値に達したときに、当該気筒において失火が発生していると判定し、
前記点火時期補正手段は、前記失火カウンタ値が前記所定値に達した後、前記単失火が検出されるごとに、当該気筒の点火時期を所定量ずつ進角側に補正することを特徴とする内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記内燃機関は、排気ガスを浄化するための触媒を有し、
前記失火判定手段は、前記触媒の暖機を促進するために点火時期を遅角側に制御する触媒暖機制御中に、失火判定を実行することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記点火時期補正手段は、前記点火時期を進角側に補正するための進角補正量を、所定のリミット値を超えないように制限することを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
