Claims (15)
- 入口導管及び出口導管を有するハウジングであって、前記入口導管を通して初流血及び後続の血流を受け取るように構成され、かつ、前記後続の血流が、前記出口導管を通って該分流装置を出ることを可能にするように構成される、ハウジングと、
前記ハウジング内に前記出口導管に隣接して位置付けられるフィルターであって、空気を通過させるが、血液は通過させない材料を含む、フィルターと、
前記ハウジング及び前記フィルターの部分によって画定される分流チャンバーであって、前記初流血を受け取って保持するように構成される、分流チャンバーと、
前記ハウジング内に位置する内部導管であって、該内部導管は前記フィルター内に配置された第一の端部と前記分流チャンバー内に配置された第二の端部とを有する菅からなり、前記後続の流体流が該分流装置を出ることを可能にするように構成される、内部導管と、
を備える、分流装置。 - 前記ハウジングの一部分は、親水性材料を含む、請求項1に記載の分流装置。
- 前記内部導管の一部分は、疎水性材料を含む、請求項2に記載の分流装置。
- 前記内部導管は、前記分流チャンバー内に延在し、前記分流チャンバーの断面積は、前記内部導管の断面積よりも大きい、請求項3に記載の分流装置。
- 前記内部導管は、前記フィルター内に形成された導管を含み、前記管の一部分は、前記フィルター内に形成された管収納部内に位置付けられる、請求項4に記載の分流装置。
- 前記ハウジングは、ハウジングシェル及びハウジングベースを備え、前記ハウジングシェルは、前記入口導管を有し、前記ハウジングベースは、前記出口導管を有し、前記フィルターは、前記ハウジングベースに形成されたフィルター収納部内に位置付けられる、請求項5に記載の分流装置。
- 前記フィルターは、親水性材料を含む、請求項6に記載の分流装置。
- 前記親水性材料は、カルボキシメチルセルロース(「CMC」)である、請求項7に記載の分流装置。
- 前記分流装置に連結された採取槽によって生成される真空圧により、前記初流血を前記分流チャンバー内に引き込む、請求項1に記載の分流装置。
- 前記内部導管は、前記後続の流体流が、前記分流装置に連結された前記採取槽によって生成される前記真空圧のみを用いて前記分流装置を出ることを可能にするように構成される、請求項9に記載の分流装置。
- 採血経路及び採血槽を含み、
前記採血経路は、患者の皮膚を穿刺する第1の針と、請求項1に記載の分流装置とを含み、
前記採取槽は、(a)前記患者からの初流血を、前記第1の針を通して請求項1に記載の分流装置内に引き込み、(b)後続の血流を、前記第1の針及び請求項1に記載の分流装置をそれぞれ通して前記採取槽内に引き込む、大気圧未満の内圧を有し、
前記採血経路は、最初の空気流が請求項1に記載の分流装置を通して大気中に排気されることを阻止する閉鎖系である、採血キット。 - 前記採血経路は、前記採取槽のキャップを穿刺する第2の針を備えるホルダーを更に含む、請求項11に記載の採血キット。
- 請求項1に記載の前記分流装置が、前記ホルダーに統合される、請求項12に記載の採血キット。
- 請求項1に記載の前記分流装置と、前記ホルダーとは、別個のユニットである、請求項12に記載の採血キット。
- 前記採取槽は、細菌増殖培地、抗生物質スカベンジャー、又はpHセンサーのうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項11に記載の採血キット。
