- バックライトユニットであって、
光源、
前記光源から放出された光の色を変換するためのカラー変換シート、及び
前記カラー変換シートの上(over)に配置された少なくとも一つの光学フィルムを含み、
前記少なくとも一つの光学フィルムは、
第1ベース部と、前記第1ベース部の一面に配置され、複数個のピラミッドパターンを含む第1パターン層と、前記第1ベース部の他面に配置され、前記複数個のピラミッドパターンと異なるパターンを含む第2パターン層とを含む第1シート、及び
第2ベース部と、前記第2ベース部の一面に配置され、複数個のピラミッドパターンを含む第3パターン層と、前記第2ベース部の他面に配置され、前記第2パターン層のパターンと対応するパターンを含む第4パターン層とを含む第2シート、を含み、
前記第2パターン層のパターンと前記第4パターン層のパターンは不規則な複数個の突出部分を含み、
前記第2パターン層は接着性物質を含み、前記第2パターン層の前記複数個の突出部分が前記第3パターン層の前記複数個のピラミッドパターンに接着することによって、前記第1シート及び前記第2シートが合紙(lamination)されることを特徴とするバックライトユニット。 - 前記第1パターン層の前記複数個のピラミッドパターン、及び前記第3パターン層の前記複数個のピラミッドパターンは、第1方向に複数個の行を有し、前記第1方向と垂直の第2方向に複数個の列を有する、請求項1に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記第1パターン層の前記複数個のピラミッドパターンは、前記第1ベース部の前記一面をエッチングして形成された陰刻ピラミッドパターンであり、
前記第3パターン層の前記複数個のピラミッドパターンは、前記第2ベース部の前記一面をエッチングして形成された陰刻ピラミッドパターンである、請求項1に記載のバックライトユニット。 - 前記第1パターン層の屈折率と前記第3パターン層の屈折率は互いに同一である、請求項1に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記第1パターン層の屈折率と前記第3パターン層の屈折率は1.47~1.70を有するように形成された、請求項4に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記複数個のピラミッドパターンのそれぞれは、ピラミッド形状の4個の面のうち2個の向かい合う面間の角度と定義される頂点角を形成し、
前記第1パターン層の第1頂点角は略87゜~93゜であり、前記第3パターン層の第2頂点角は略87゜~93゜である、請求項1に記載のバックライトユニット。 - 前記第2パターン層及び前記第4パターン層の面積において、前記複数個の突出部分が占める面積を定義する、前記第2パターン層及び前記第4パターン層の密度は5%~9%である、請求項6に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記第2パターン層及び前記第4パターン層において、前記複数個の突出部分のそれぞれの直径の平均値は30μm~60μmである、請求項7に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記第2パターン層及び前記第4パターン層の縦横比は、0.23~0.5の区間である、請求項8に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記第2パターン層及び前記第4パターン層において、前記複数個の突出部分のそれぞれの高さの平均値は、6.9μm~30μmである、請求項8に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記第2パターン層及び前記第4パターン層のヘイズは、13%~85%である、請求項1に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記第2パターン層及び前記第4パターン層の前記不規則な複数個の突出部分は、少なくとも一部が曲面形状を有する、請求項1に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 光学フィルムであって、
第1ベース部と、前記第1ベース部の一面に配置され、複数個のピラミッドパターンを含む第1パターン層と、前記第1ベース部の他面に配置され、前記複数個のピラミッドパターンと異なるパターンを含む第2パターン層とを含む第1シート、及び
第2ベース部と、前記第2ベース部の一面に配置され、複数個のピラミッドパターンを含む第3パターン層と、前記第2ベース部の他面に配置され、前記第2パターン層のパターンに対応するパターンを含む第4パターン層とを含む第2シート、を含み、
前記第2パターン層のパターンと前記第4パターン層のパターンは不規則な複数個の突出部分を含み、
前記第2パターン層は接着性物質を含み、前記第2パターン層と前記第3パターン層が互いに接着されることにより、前記第1シート及び前記第2シートが合紙(lamination)されることを特徴とする光学フィルム。 - 前記第1パターン層の屈折率と前記第3パターン層の屈折率は互いに同一である、請求項13に記載の光学フィルム。
- 前記複数個のピラミッドパターンのそれぞれは、ピラミッド形状の4個の面のうち2個の向かい合う面間の角度と定義される頂点角を形成し、
前記第1パターン層の第1頂点角は略87゜~93゜であり、前記第3パターン層の第2頂点角は略87゜~93゜である、請求項13に記載の光学フィルム。 - 前記第2パターン層及び前記第4パターン層の面積において、前記複数個の突出部分が占める面積を定義する、前記第2パターン層及び前記第4パターン層の密度は5%~9%である、請求項15に記載の光学フィルム。
