Claims (9)
- ヒンジ部(hinge)、前記ヒンジ部の両側で前記ヒンジ部と結合された支持部、及び前記支持部の一部に形成される透光部を備える支持部材と、
前記支持部材の第1面上に配置され、前記ヒンジ部に対応するフォルダブル表示領域及び前記フォルダブル表示領域の両側に位置する表示領域を含むフォルダブル表示パネルと、
前記フォルダブル表示パネルと離隔して前記支持部材の透光部に配置される入力検知センサと、を含み、
前記透光部は前記支持部材の開口に対応し、
前記支持部材は前記透光部に挿入されるエレクトロクロミックウィンドウを含み、
前記エレクトロクロミックウィンドウの透明度が前記エレクトロクロミックウィンドウに印加される電流量に応じて変化することを特徴とするフォルダブル表示装置。 - 前記透光部は前記支持部材の開口に対応し、
前記支持部材の前記開口に透明絶縁層が挿入されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフォルダブル表示装置。 - 前記入力検知センサは前記透明絶縁層の一面に配置され、
前記フォルダブル表示パネルが折り畳まれた状態において前記入力検知センサと前記フォルダブル表示パネルの間に前記透明絶縁層が位置することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のフォルダブル表示装置。 - 前記フォルダブル表示パネルが広げられた状態において前記フォルダブル表示パネルは前記透光部と重畳せず、
前記フォルダブル表示パネルが折り畳まれた状態において前記フォルダブル表示パネルの前記表示領域の一部が前記透光部に重畳することを特徴とする請求項3に記載のフォルダブル表示装置。 - ヒンジ部(hinge)、前記ヒンジ部の両側で前記ヒンジ部と結合された支持部、及び前記支持部の一部に形成される透光部を備える支持部材と、
前記支持部材の第1面上に配置され、前記ヒンジ部に対応するフォルダブル表示領域及び前記フォルダブル表示領域の両側に位置する表示領域を含むフォルダブル表示パネルと、
前記フォルダブル表示パネルと離隔して前記支持部材の透光部に配置される入力検知センサと、を含み、
前記透光部は前記支持部材の開口に対応し、
前記支持部材の前記開口に透明絶縁層が挿入され、
前記入力検知センサは前記透明絶縁層の一面に配置され、
前記フォルダブル表示パネルが折り畳まれた状態において前記入力検知センサと前記フォルダブル表示パネルの間に前記透明絶縁層が位置し、
前記支持部材は前記透光部に挿入されるエレクトロクロミックウィンドウを含み、
前記エレクトロクロミックウィンドウの透明度が前記エレクトロクロミックウィンドウに印加される電流量に応じて変化し、
前記支持部材の前記開口の側壁の少なくとも一部は、前記支持部材の前記第1面及び前記第1面に対向する第2面の垂直方向である第1方向に対して前記開口が狭まる向きに傾いた傾斜面を含むことを特徴とするフォルダブル表示装置。 - 前記フォルダブル表示パネルが既設定された基準角度より小さい角度で折り畳まれる場合、前記入力検知センサが活性化され、
前記フォルダブル表示パネルが前記基準角度以上に広げられる場合、前記入力検知センサが非活性化されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフォルダブル表示装置。 - 前記エレクトロクロミックウィンドウは、
前記支持部材の前記第1面の延長線上に位置する第1透明絶縁層と、
前記第1透明絶縁層上に配置される第1透明電極層と、
前記第1透明電極層上に配置される高分子分散型液晶(Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal;PDLC)と、
前記高分子分散型液晶上に配置される第2透明電極層と、
前記第2透明電極層上に配置される第2透明絶縁層と、を含み、
前記入力検知センサは前記第2透明絶縁層上に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフォルダブル表示装置。 - 前記フォルダブル表示パネルは、前記フォルダブル表示パネルが広げられた状態において
前記エレクトロクロミックウィンドウに重畳する複数の画素を含む透明表示領域をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフォルダブル表示装置。 - 前記フォルダブル表示パネルが既設定された基準角度より小さい角度で折り畳まれる場合、前記エレクトロクロミックウィンドウが透明になり、
前記フォルダブル表示パネルが前記基準角度以上に広げられる場合、前記エレクトロクロミックウィンドウが不透明になることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフォルダブル表示装置。
