Description
<ハイブリッド車両の構成>
図1は、実施の形態1に係るハイブリッド車両の全体構成を概略的に示すブロック図である。図1を参照して、本実施の形態において、車両100は、ハイブリッド車両(HV:Hybrid Vehicle)である。しかし、車両100は、車両外部からの電力による充電が可能なプラグインハイブリッド車両(PHV:Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle)であってもよい。
図2は、エンジン1、排気管21および電池パック7の配置例を示す図である。図2には車両100を下方から見た底面図が示されている。図2を参照して、エンジン1は、車両100の前方のエンジンコンパートメントに配置されている。車両100の後方にはマフラー213が配置されている。排気管21は、車両100の前後方向に配置されている。
本実施の形態においては、車両100のバッテリレス走行を継続しつつエンジン1の排熱から電池パック7を適切に保護するために、通常時と比べてエンジン1の出力を抑制する「出力抑制制御」が実行される。出力抑制制御を実行することで、出力抑制制御の非実行時(通常時)と比べて、排気管21から電池パック7への熱輻射が抑えられるので、電池パック7の温度上昇が起こりにくくなる。その結果、電池パック7の過度の温度上昇から電池パック7を保護できる。
図5は、実施の形態1におけるエンジン1の出力制御を説明するためのタイムチャートである。図5を参照して、横軸は経過時間を表す。縦軸は、上から順に、触媒温度Tc、高温カウンタの値、冷却カウンタの値、高温判定フラグのオン/オフ、冷却判定フラグのオン/オフ、および、出力抑制要求のオン/オフを表す。
図6は、実施の形態1におけるエンジン1のフラグ制御を示すフローチャートである。図6ならびに後述する図12および図14に示すフローチャートは、ECU10のメモリに予め格納されたプログラムを所定の制御周期でメインルーチン(図示せず)から呼び出すことによって実現される。ただし、専用のハードウェア(電子回路)を構築して一部またはすべてのステップの処理を実現することも可能である。以下では各ステップを「S」と略す。
実施の形態1では、エンジン1の出力の抑制度合いが触媒温度Tcに応じて定まる例について説明した(図3および図4参照)。実施の形態1の変形例1では、エンジン1の出力の抑制度合いが触媒温度Tcに加えて車速Vに依存する例について説明する。
[実施の形態1の変形例2]
実施の形態1および変形例1では、出力抑制制御の実行中には出力抑制制御の非実行時と比べて、エンジン1の上限出力Plimを低下させると説明した。実施の形態1の変形例2においては、エンジン1の要求出力Preqを変更することで出力抑制制御が実現される構成について説明する。
実施の形態1では、触媒温度Tcに応じて出力抑制制御の開始および停止を行う制御について説明した。しかし、出力抑制制御を実行するかどうかの判断が触媒温度Tcに基づくことは必須ではない。実施の形態2においては、電池パック7の温度に基づく出力抑制制御について説明する。
実施の形態1では、2種類のカウンタ(高温カウンタおよび冷却カウンタ)が用いられる例について説明した。実施の形態3においては、2種類のカウンタを1つに統合したカウンタ(これも高温カウンタと呼ぶ)を使用する例について説明する。なお、実施の形態3に係るハイブリッド車両の構成は、実施の形態1における車両100の構成(図1および図2参照)と同様であるため、詳細な説明は繰り返さない。
図13は、実施の形態3におけるエンジン1の出力制御を説明するためのタイムチャートである。図13を参照して、横軸は経過時間を表す。縦軸は、上から順に、車速V、触媒温度Tc、高温カウンタの値、高温判定フラグのオン/オフ、および、出力抑制要求のオン/オフを表す。実施の形態1と比較したとき、実施の形態3では冷却カウンタおよび冷却判定フラグが削除されている。
図14は、実施の形態3におけるエンジン1のフラグ制御を示すフローチャートである。紙面の都合上、図示していないが、まず、ECU10は、車両100がバッテリレス走行中であるかどうかを判定する。車両100がバッテリレス走行中でない場合には、ECU10は処理をメインルーチンに戻す。
Claims (13)
- ハイブリッド車両であって、
エンジンと、
前記エンジンからの排気ガスを排出する排気通路と、
前記排気通路の近傍に配置された電池パックと、
前記ハイブリッド車両の退避走行中に、前記電池パックを充放電させない制御と、前記エンジンの出力を抑制する出力抑制制御とを実行する制御装置とを備え、
前記出力抑制制御は、前記電池パックの推定温度が閾値を上回った場合に、前記エンジンを出力が可能な状態に維持しつつ、前記推定温度が前記閾値を下回る場合と比べて前記エンジンの出力を抑制する制御であり、
前記制御装置は、前記ハイブリッド車両の速度が第1所定速度よりも速い場合には、前記ハイブリッド車両の速度が前記第1所定速度よりも遅い場合と比べて、前記出力抑制制御の実行開始を遅くする、ハイブリッド車両。 - 前記ハイブリッド車両の走行用モータの駆動装置と、
前記電池パックと前記駆動装置との間に電気的に接続されたリレーとをさらに備え、
前記制御装置は、前記退避走行中に、前記電池パックが前記駆動装置から電気的に切り離されるように前記リレーを開放させる、請求項1に記載のハイブリッド車両。 - 前記排気通路は、前記排気ガスを浄化する触媒を含み、
前記ハイブリッド車両は、前記触媒の温度を出力するセンサをさらに備え、
前記制御装置は、前記触媒の温度を前記推定温度として用いる、請求項1または2に記載のハイブリッド車両。 - 前記排気通路は、前記排気ガスを浄化する触媒を含み、
前記ハイブリッド車両は、前記エンジンの運転状態を出力するセンサをさらに備え、
前記制御装置は、前記センサからの出力に基づいて前記触媒の温度を推定し、推定された温度を前記推定温度として用いる、請求項1または2に記載のハイブリッド車両。 - 前記電池パックは、
組電池と、
前記組電池を冷却するように構成された冷却装置と、
前記冷却装置により冷却されないように構成された機器類とを含み、
前記ハイブリッド車両は、前記組電池の温度を前記推定温度として出力するセンサをさらに備える、請求項1または2に記載のハイブリッド車両。 - 前記制御装置は、前記推定温度が前記閾値を上回る状態が第1所定時間よりも長く続いた場合に、前記出力抑制制御を実行する、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載のハイブリッド車両。
- 前記制御装置は、前記エンジンの出力抑制の実行開始後に前記推定温度が前記閾値よりも低い他の閾値を下回った場合には、前記出力抑制制御を停止する、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載のハイブリッド車両。
- 前記制御装置は、前記エンジンの出力抑制の実行開始後に前記推定温度が前記他の閾値を下回る状態が第2所定時間よりも長く続いた場合に、前記出力抑制制御を停止する、請求項7に記載のハイブリッド車両。
- 前記ハイブリッド車両のユーザに対して、前記出力抑制制御の実行中にはその旨を報知する報知装置をさらに備える、請求項1~8のいずれか1項に記載のハイブリッド車両。
- 前記出力抑制制御は、前記推定温度が前記閾値を上回った場合に、前記推定温度が前記閾値を下回る場合と比べて、前記エンジンの上限出力を低くする制御である、請求項1~9のいずれか1項に記載のハイブリッド車両。
- 前記出力抑制制御は、前記推定温度が前記閾値を上回った場合に、前記推定温度が前記閾値を下回る場合と比べて、同じアクセル開度に対応する要求出力を低くする制御である、請求項1~9のいずれか1項に記載のハイブリッド車両。
- ハイブリッド車両であって、
エンジンと、
前記エンジンからの排気ガスを排出する排気通路と、
前記排気通路の近傍に配置された電池パックと、
前記ハイブリッド車両の退避走行中に、前記電池パックを充放電させない制御と、前記エンジンの出力を抑制する出力抑制制御とを実行する制御装置とを備え、
前記出力抑制制御は、前記電池パックの推定温度が閾値を上回った場合に、前記エンジンを出力が可能な状態に維持しつつ、前記推定温度が前記閾値を下回る場合と比べて前記エンジンの出力を抑制する制御であり、
前記制御装置は、前記ハイブリッド車両の速度が第2所定速度よりも速い場合には、前記ハイブリッド車両の速度が前記第2所定速度よりも遅い場合と比べて、前記出力抑制制御の停止を早くする、ハイブリッド車両。 - ハイブリッド車両であって、
エンジンと、
前記エンジンからの排気ガスを排出する排気通路と、
前記排気通路の近傍に配置された電池パックと、
前記ハイブリッド車両の退避走行中に、前記電池パックを充放電させない制御と、前記エンジンの出力を抑制する出力抑制制御とを実行する制御装置とを備え、
前記出力抑制制御は、前記電池パックの推定温度が閾値を上回った場合に、前記エンジンを出力が可能な状態に維持しつつ、前記推定温度が前記閾値を下回る場合と比べて前記エンジンの出力を抑制する制御であり、
前記制御装置は、前記推定温度が高いほど前記エンジンの出力の抑制度合いを大きくし、かつ、前記ハイブリッド車両の車速が速いほど前記エンジンの出力の抑制度合いを小さくする、ハイブリッド車両。
