図7は、構造体10を並列して配置した状態を示す模式図である。ここで、位置が隣接する構造体10を、説明の便宜上、構造体10a、構造体10bとする。構造体10aにおいて、横方向の潰れ部分11を潰れ部分11aA、縦方向の潰れ部分を潰れ部分11aB、潰れ部分11aAと潰れ部分11aBの間の中空四面体構造12を中空四面体構造12aとする。構造体10bにおいて、横方向の潰れ部分を潰れ部分11bA、縦方向の潰れ部分を潰れ部分11bB、潰れ部分11bAと潰れ部分11bBの間の中空四面体構造12を中空四面体構造12bとする。図7に示すように、位置が隣接する構造体10aと構造体10bは対称になるように90°位相を変えて配置されている。
本試験では、異なる仕様の中空管1より成形した3つの構造体10について、それぞれ、プラトー応力[MPa]及び単位質量あたりの吸収エネルギー[kJ/kg]を評価した。ここで、プラトー応力とは、圧縮応力-圧縮ひずみ曲線において,プラトー領域内の応力で,通常20~30%の圧縮ひずみでの圧縮応力の平均値である。

Claims (1)
- 衝撃吸収部材の製造方法であって、
中空管を縦横交互に管径方向に潰して中空四面体構造を所定の間隔で連続して形成する工程と、
前記中空四面体構造が所定の間隔で連続して形成された構造体を並列して配置し連結部材で織り込む織込み工程と、を有し、
前記中空管の材質はステンレスである、
